honestly, the new menu is quite nice. the music had to be removed for copyright apparently, and yes they could have made it more alive as a replacement (i assume they didnt because they want to match the other platforms), but it's best to just look at all the new great things they brought to the new menu, rather than be stuck up on nostalgia. remember, the old menu wasn't updated since 2015..so we needed an update eventually lol.

also, fun fact, if you go to the leaderboard in-game (not in the menu, just click leaderboard), you can hear all the old sounds from the old menu if you click on other players/profiles. i thought it was pretty nice they left that :)

although this menu was insanely buggy, it was way better than the new menu. while the new menu is an improvement in ways, it also removed things. example: they removed badges. and the old background & music. i have put the 3 together and the new menu looks clean with the old background, roblox sucked the soul out of something that had future potential.

roblox ruined console. menu is laggy now, avatar editor is harder to use, and the background is no longer a neon city. what they shouldve done is kept everything and added a friend request tab. i remember that really old editor where your character would be in a small dressing room and all your stuff would be to the right. dont get me started on the xbox characters, they made those free to everyone, now we cant know for sure if somebody is truly on an xbox. i remember getting the xbox characters from my xbox so i could use them on my tablet.
The most nostalgic was how it echos all the sounds, and it was soo easy to navigate. now you have to go up, select something and stuff to go to firends, settings etc you used to be able to just press your bumpers.

Also anyone wondering How to get back to this there is a game that mimics it and does allow you to join different games on it its called Xbox one UI (2016)

the new ui is so laggy. roblox was already starting to feel laggy on the xbox one, but the real nail in the coffin was just the new menu. it constantly feels like my xbox is about to catch on fire and explode, yet im literally getting the best preformance for the menu, so it was just made THAT unoptimized
With the old menu you could at least *see* the badge…
