I dont think science people look down upon philosophy, but its less regarded as a science these days since its kinda gone off the rails since the 1900s. But everyone can agree that is provides useful insights which is most commonly seen in mathematics
How are 99% of scientific questions philosophical? Name even one current scientific question that is philosophical and explain why do we need modern philosophy to come up with the question?
@@PoorEdward You answered my question with a question. Nowhere did I argue that science and its methodologies did not arise from philosophical inquiry, but that does not mean that "99% of scientific questions are philosophical" (which is a pretty bold claim), or that modern philosophy is useful.
That's was so entertaining, it explains how average people from both majors could think and how both majors actually support each other, physics was at first just philosophy before using math to it and many famous physicists were philosophers or interested in philosophy as well, so the combination in this video is fabulous, hope I can see more of these videos which are both amusing and witty
