Dominique may have been defeated, but she is not finished. Banished to Limbo, she seeks to steal Bael's power and escape to the mortal realm and take her revenge! Explore a massive new map with retro gameplay that takes Classic Mode to a whole new level. Acquire valuable abilities and artifacts that will add to Dominique's power. Speak to friendly demons to gather clues, but beware the waning moon! When the moon changes, friends become foes.

As far as I was concerned kickstarter was a gacha some had higher odds but for sure I never counted my investments as for sure things they were basically this seems cool here's what I'm willing to accept as a loss on investment but if it works hey cool think I was pretty lucky for the most part
This wasn’t part of the planned updates from KS. The first Classic Mode was. This is an addon that you pay separate for.

Im really happy about this. I know we have Curse of the Moon and Curse of the Moon 2, and we have DLC for this, but I really hope this series keeps going for a while, and we get more full games.
This IP is carrying what Konami didn't, and I will support every moment of it.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the last update that was part of the road map for Bloodstained? I'm IGA to see what Koji Igarashi and his team will cook up next!
Pretty sure they said the outfits were the last initially. Seems like if the devs get an idea they change their mind. Kinda just want them to iron out the switch version but is what it is and still love the game and devs.
The multiplayer update was the last Kickstarter goal and this is the last major update. So they're finally gonna go full force on making a proper sequel.
Hopefully a performance patch
@@KaguyaH I'm playing on the Steam Deck, but I've heard the Switch version runs a bit rough. I hope that now that the devs are done adding content to the game, maybe they'll iron out the Switch version a little bit.
@@KayFiOSI have had it on Switch since the jump and I would have to spam save a lot because it used to crash all the time. It is much much better than it was.

@@IrregularHunterDash I'm sure what OP had in mind was closer to one of those alternate character modes IGAvanias tend to have where you run through a plotless version of the map from the main game with a different character with different abilities, like Richter Mode from Symphony of the Night.

Thats the boss from bloodstained Curse of the Moon, he appears in a chamber full of goldcoins and throws them at you. One of the coolest boss fights in the game imho, even tho a little bit easy.

@@coltj5907 No. Once you download it, you can find it in Game Modes. And if you’re having trouble finding the DLC to download, try searching whatever online shop you’re on for the name of the DLC.

For Spyro Reignited Trilogy to be on the Switch,
I decided to act like a mature adult and wait for a year after when it was not shown at the E3 direct of 2018.
But then at the E3 direct of 2019,
It happened and my wish finally came true.
Nintendo doesn't drop Directs without announcing them at least one day earlier.
Not until the second half of this month.
This is rather astonishing. Dlc for a game that came out 6 years ago and it's a send up of Castlevania 2? I'm not complaining, mind you, just intrigued is all.

I liked Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night in general, but when I played the Switch port around the time of its initial release, the game was quite laggy, and I later heard rumors that was only true of the Switch version. I wonder if everything's all fixed up by now...

This is paid DLC actually. $10 though. Good news though is Bloodstained 2 was confirmed to be in development a year or so ago after people caught on to the trademark. Confirmed by the official Facebook page. No actual announcements yet though.

I bought Bloodstained twice. Once for Switch and one for PC because the Switch performance was close to unbearable. That being said, I'll buy it a third time if there is a complete edition with all DLC on card for the Switch Successor.
But what if the Switch Successor does the same thing by letting you play Switch games,

Iga and the whole teams behind it all are one of the rare W in terms of devs renaissance stories, even i believe it's been difficult, I still find it inspiring and will keep on playing your games! Big love and keep the passion coming!

Does this mean the game finally got updated so it can actually run on the Switch without constant crashing? Until the last update I was having zero issues, and then I couldn't play for over a year.

I am a massive castlevania and metroidvania fan in general but I hate 2.5D with a fiery passion ( there are exceptions ) I couldn’t finish the original game. It just looks soooooo bad
