    Sir , I'hv a doubt. Whether Adverb of Place can be subject complement ???
    E.g. " Rohan is here. "
    " Sohan is there."
    In these sentences , here & there act as complement , but the part of speech of "here" & "there" is "Adverb of Place".

    • @englishguruamansir
      @englishguruamansir  ปีที่แล้ว

      An adverb of place is known as locative complement as it refers to the location of the subject.

    Sir kya objective compliment hamesha direct object ke bare main information deta hai ya phir Indirect object ke bare main bhi information deta hai

    • @englishguruamansir
      @englishguruamansir  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Rehan
      First you need to know what a direct object is.
      So let me tell you.
      Direct object is the thing or the person directly acted upon by the verb of the sentence.
      For example
      I wrote a letter to him.
      Here in the above sentence, the action of writing will directly be acted upon with the letter, so ...
      Direct object= a letter
      Indirect object = him
      Example number 2
      His father sent him to America.
      Here in the above sentence the action of sending is directly e being acted upon with 'him'. So....
      Direct object = him
      The conclusion is that object complement always complements its direct object.

    • @RihanKhan-bl9pd
      @RihanKhan-bl9pd 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Matlab sir kabhi bhi direct object or indirect object in dono ke sentence main hone par objective compliment nhi aata (yani sirf direct objective hogo tabhi objective compliment ayega)
