    I've found these videos to help my daughter with dyslexia be able to see the math. When we do it together with you, it all works out. When we do random worksheet problems we keep finding things that don't work. How do you do it when the divisor is 20, 30, 50? Another example: 4257/ 23 I can't get that one to work out either.

    I think it is a very useful explanation.. However can you give an example of long division where the dividend has smaller digits than the divisor... Such as 36846 divided by 84?

    I just love this method. I tried it to explain why when dividing by a fraction, we multiply the denominator. 94 divided by ⅓ = 282
