FULL Hoot Trail, Nevada City - High Definition

It's a great time of year to go mountain biking in the Sierra Foothills! We did a few laps on the Hoot Trail near Nevada City, California and the conditions are just about perfect.

You should do Scott's Flat trail too. It's not quite as action packed but still fun and much longer. The pedal up the road isn't too bad either. I would rather end my day with a downhill than a climb but parking at the lake costs money and the parking at the top gives you more options for lapping Hoot!.

We did it a few years ago, but haven't checked it out since the new additions to it. We'll have to check it out next time we're down there. Thanks for the rec!
