Hey Brother. I recently purchased your E-Book, and let me tell you I'm impressed with it all, it will definitely be a game changer for me as I recently ramped up in collecting. I do however have a question. Percival! Would Abercrombie's Fierce be a good dupe for Percival? It wasn't listed, but many have been recommending it. Wishing health, peace and Love bro. Thank You
Chasing compliments is lowkey like wearing certain fragrances just to fit in. But honestly, gotta respect someone who sticks to what they like, even if no one else gets it. Keep doing your thing, bro.
Many people still don’t understand that most of the compliments, specially from strangers, mean that they find you physically attractive , and the fragrance is only a very small percentage of your overall appearance and it’s an excuse to talk to you.
There’s no such thing as a “compliment magnet” unless you’re HIM. a fragrance is the cherry on top. I also hear most ppl say that designer fragrances get way more compliments.
I can’t front I support but it seems a bit staged( the spray smell reaction, the description and unfamiliarity of notes or how to pronounce. Respectfully slow down be more genuine not so catchphrasey shock words etc
Investing in dupes is like going to a discount store and thinking everything you pick up will be just as good as the original. They still can’t seem to dupe basic cereals all that well. Think of Cinnamon Toast Crunch etc. They will get the more common ones down pretty well but some “off brand” food will almost always have a certain taste that will throw you off. It’s all in the details. Now if your taste buds are as on point as your Nose then a lot of these won’t do it for you. I wasn’t a fan of Bond Fragrances all that much anyway because I never thought they were worth the price tag. That’s all Jo Milano is tbh. Appropriately priced.
You're spot on with the comparison. Dupes can get close, but it’s the small details that separate them from the original. Especially if you own the orignal already or If your nose is sharp, those differences are hard to ignore. However Some dupe houses are getting shockingly close to the originals, almost indistinguishable even if your nose is highly trained. In fact, there are some dupes out there that not only mimic the scent profile but also match the performance, which was once a major drawback in the dupe world. We’re seeing dupe houses get more sophisticated with hiring the same perfumers, using the same ingredients and formulations, which makes the whole idea of “off-brand” a lot more nuanced now.
Well there is a cereal i have tried that is just as good as Cinnamon Toast Crunch, its all marketing but CTC isnt what it used to be because it is GMO now and i refuse to pay for it anymore even though its my favorite cereal. Bro dupes are here to stay so what if the perfumer for the og did the same fragrance for a dupe brand then would u vouch for it. I like dupes and ogs, if it smells really good and i save money im all in
@@WarrenTafahThen why not just get the oil? Most of these fragrances from the major houses come as oils and have a better scent trail. The dupe seems unnecessary at that point. I can only name 10-20 dupes that are of the same quality or better than the original. Most of which I can also get as an oil for $5-$10 dollars. Dupes are somewhat like the middle child that gets ignored. If it’s available at the oil shop what’s the point? Plus once you get deep in your bag you will see that they typically only dupe the more mainstream “popular” fragrances. For Example ByKilian has so many gems but they didn’t start making good clones of their fragrances until Angel share came out. This is a good Reference for beginners but seasoned collectors know that the deeper you get in your bag the harder it is to find a clone.
@@keithhogan2336 If you can find one that’s just as good why not? But I can almost guarantee you that if it has a clone then it also comes as an oil and the oil will be better. Dupes are for beginners. Iykyk
