I really wish DJ would step back into the octagon for a few fights. It's wild how so many people have only just discovered him after his retirement-his social media has absolutely blown up! Being a gamer has brought in a whole new crowd to appreciate him. I’ve been following UFC since the early days, though my interest has come and gone over the years-kind of like with football. It honestly took me a while to really care about the lightweight fighters, but over time, I think we’ve all grown to appreciate the incredible skillsets of the smaller guys. Sure, they might not be able to beat the big guys physically, but their technique and precision are unmatched. I enjoy hearing DJ speak; he’s got such a great perspective, and clearly, a lot of others feel the same way. Seeing him fight again is probably just wishful thinking, but hey, a guy can dream, right?
