Tires, tires, tires! Need better tires!
That's easier said than done, they're expensive. Although i guess if you own a truck like that you should have known what you were getting yourself into as far as money wise.
Sure, proper tires cost more than your average street tires, but when they're designed for thick shit like, it's worth the investment to have a 2nd set of wheels to go play with.
Unless u like getting stuck all the time..... :P
Jaime G. Naw they ain't expensive.. you can get a decent set of skinny tractor tread tires cheaper then what they got on there trucks now
+Kent Hylok not every one is inbred though and wanting to run tractor tires on there daily driven $60k truck he has nitto terra grapplers on I believe because my guess would be he doesn't want super quick wear down and tire howl so he is running an all terrain if he would have had nitto trail grapplers he probably wouldn't have gotten stuck and if he had nitto mud grapplers he definitely wouldn't have gotten stuck
+Jacob pritchard those 3500 crew cabs weigh at the 7K mark. Nitto Mud Grapplers (in the size that would fit their trucks as they sit) wouldn't be a 'guaranteed not getting stuck' tire. Chances are greater that they would make it out, but plenty of times Mother Nature pulls out the trump card and goes 'not so fast sonny....'
The new Ram body style is far better looking to the last generation but man that 05 3500 with the long box AND 4 doors - wow! That thing is beautifully beastly!

Nice to see these Rams getting down in the mud. All the lifted Turbo-diesel Rams where i live are straight pavement princess'. Jack them up and never wheel them. So stupid...
Because rams are for guys that think they are straight but deep down suck dick. So getting mud everywhere is not an option

Look at like swamp trucks and crap they all have skinny tires. Like at tractors in soft fields skinny tires. Front wheel drive pieces of shit in snow skinny front tires and front wheel drive gets you everywhere. Why have a wider surface to push and plow. Skinny cuts through it easier which creates less resistance meaning you just go on through whatever you wanna go through I understand wide tires for like Alaska and crap to stay on top of like 8 ft of snow haha

No most tractors do not have skinny tires. Almost all of our tractors have wide tires and duals. Skinny tires go to the planting tractors so the tractor doesn't run over the crop. It runs in between the rows. You want flotation. Skinny tires are just going to sink in mud, especially with a tractors weight you would be fucked. The tractors that we use to disk, plow, and rolls harrow with will all have wide tires and duals, this allows them to float on top of the soil. The reason you see skinny tractor tires on mud machines is because that's all the flotation they need. They don't have the weight to sink those tires in very far. Our John Deere 9410r and John Deere 9320 both would sink like rocks with skinny tires. You'd be done before you started. So no. Fat tires are the way to go. Sorry

the 3500 weight 1ton its not the car its the weight of the truck + the engine. if a Chevy or a ford weighed 1ton it does not matter if the drove in a field in the same conditions they all would get stuck....
Tony Stark so you are saying that, that truck only weighs 1 ton. That is wrong it is rated to carry one town. A 3500 does not weigh only one ton.
Travis Theisen that's not true either, that truck can carry way more than one ton. Maybe that was true years ago but it certainly isn't now.
blake woolam I agree with you as my dad 2007 dodge 2500 3/4 ton is actually rated for one ton. I was just trying to get my point across the that truck weighs way more then one ton.
