You. Brake earlier than I do in sim but I slower by 10 seconds and I don't go off the road..strange for me
A lot of time is made up by trail braking and coasting in certain parts throughout the corner
Also depends on the difference of track conditions
It also depends on the tune of the car you may have a tune that isn’t optimal for this track
You probably aren't giving yourself the right angle to carry your momentum out of the corner and get on the gas at the right time out of the apex. You lose more speed than necessary when you brake too late. Drive smooth, win the race.
