Well, i do like the reflections a bit more on NFS 2015- But graphics look better overall on Payback, and we have daytime, what makes the game look gorgeous :D

Just by looking at the game, NFS 2015 seems better. The soul of the game. NFS 2015 feels like you are chilling out at night doing illegal racing. NFS payback feels waaaaay more arcade and fake (if we compare 2015 from 2017). Pay back may have afew more features, but it was made by a team that knew what NFS was truly about, like the first 4 Fast and Furios films. Illegal racing, clubs, drifting, and "gangs". And all of it was during the night.

for me it's NFS 2015, because it sticks to classic Need For speed, by that I mean; Racing in the nighttime, in open city, chased by cops. I Think PayBack feels like it was directed by michael bay

NFS most wanted 2005 is still a legend and the last Best NFS games for me was The Run , Crazy story with graphics and adventures on every level

I think the next NFS needs a weather system to have the best of NFS2015 and Payback graphics. Keep the customization of payback, add more cars. Story mode needs something new.
They tried that "new" with The Run and Payback. And guess what? People complained, again....

2015 was the better one because the online community was not cancer I would actually have real car meets in the game unlike payback but we all know that most wanted and carbon were the true kings of nfs also the underground series

Im sorry but i just cant accept the argument that NFS can never go back to an all-night setting. Underground and Carbon did that and it was freaking amazing, 2015 is a masterpiece imo.

I'll levy with you. NFS 2015 is not my favourite racing game, but it is my favourite driving game. There is a smorgasboard of games that are better, physics-wise than NFS 2015, but 2015 is aesthetically one of the best.

I think there bassicly the exact same thing small differences ones night ones day one has 3 people to control which I don't like and one has one guy and story mode is basically the only differences
Graphics are a bit different, and handling is clearly different. The handling still has to improve a lot, but is quite better :D
I had the three games, and in my opinion i think that Nfs 15 is better, deiving, graphics and sounds of the cars. Story mode i could give more realistic in Payback
I do think the story on Payback is better. The little effects and sounds/graphics are better in NFS 2015, still, i keep thinking the driving/handling is better on Payback hehe
The most wanted feature from UNDERGROUND is Dyno tuning!
I prefer set up my car myself to create a drag/drift/race build, instead of choose a car only made for drag/drift/race like in payback..
Tuning suspension, ecu, turbo, brake, transmission etc and feel the difference on the road after 15mn of tuning really miss me on next gen nfs games, where the only setting is the suspension tuning with just visual effets, and the setting of the crappy physics directly on the road... zero immersion.
Indeed, DYNO was top notch. It came back for PRO Street

2015 is better if you actually appreciate drift culture and car culture in general
I finish Payback on Xbone once, after that I didn't enjoy it because there was no free roaming racers, they added free roam mp with no missions...just empty...and after I bought the pack on origin, I tried to play it again, but man, cards in a video game racing to tune it? WTF?! Stick with one car or get older by improving another one? But in 2015 I find a lot of players on xbone and pc...and things you can do...and the thing I like the most about 2015 is the free roaming racers which makes the world a living one. Performance parts in 2015 top notch while in Payback is frustrating as hell, customization slightly better in Payback cause you have a lot of upgrades...but didn't mind the once in 2015 either. I do believe that 2015 was a solid game, which in 2017 should have been improved with physics and handling and more like customizations and less hyper cars or a balanced one within hyper and normal or everyday cars. So, I still playing 2015 to this day in my Mazda RX7 with a lot of players in it roaming and racing, things that in Payback are inexisting , even though handling was improved. 2015 Thumbs up.

@@AncientGameplays indeed...well, it reminds me of underground era and my childhood with save files on floppy disks lel...and it was solid, but it was rushed as hell and I don't believe that games, at least for a while, will be finish and full at delivery...I mean CS GO has a game from 2012 and the community it's enormous, but on this new games...rushed and unpolished games from day one even with pre-purchase...make me wonder why I grow up so fast...

After finishing the story, they become obsolete.
I do agree. Still, you can still do the same races or you can do online races and online showoffs
Online is not ideal for me since I lag like hell.
In career/ story, I can still race. But now I have to manage my money, cars and whatnot. Those things are fun only when I'm playing for the story. But if I just want to play random races with random cars, it becomes a hassle.
Removing something important as quick race is absurd at best.

I don't think the tuning in Payback is that confusing once you get the hang of it. I prefer it now because each level card gives you the item it is plus the bonuses. It gives you more to work towards as you can spend more time maxing out your car.
One thing I cannot stand about payback is being able to buy loot boxes with real cash. Making it easier to max out your car although you can get loads of these boxes for free it's still stupid you can buy them. Don't these billionaire companies make enough money!
Still, card sistem is stupid since it doesnt let you learn anything about cars...well, froza is going to launch a street version so.i guess NFS is doomed
@@AncientGameplays It does because you get cards with no Bonuses on them. Like turbo on its own will obviously give you speed and acceleration. Then turbo with break bonus will give you speed acceleration and breaking.
Your not going to learn about cars from playing NFS full stop the game is unrealistic as fuck. If you want to learn about cars play forza or gran turismo haha
Edit: I can understand why the card system is disliked though personally I think they should make a system where you do certain tuning with strategy behind it but not a card system with certain bonuses and stuff.
@@LG1ikLx The card system is disliked because it sucks man. How the hell in the world is turbo supposed to give you brakes? Like..dafuq? And no mate, sadly older Need For Speeds like Underground 2 and most wanted (mostly U2 with wind tunnel and amazing customiztion) could really teach you about cars :D
@@AncientGameplays The turbo itself isn't giving you breaks that's a bonus. If you had 16 turbo equipped and you put 17 turbo card with breaking. You will get speed, acceleration and breaks. Nah I wouldn't say need for speed is a game for education it's more of a unrealistic arcade racing game.
Edit: I agree the wind tunnel and other various in depth tuning was good on NFSU 2 but if you want a game that teaches you about cars then i would get a game built for that purpose. I think need for speed don't do that sort of stuff because it promotes street racing. Kind of like how GTA has never been as close to how good San Andreas was with territory wars and stuff.

Agustín Luparo To answer your question, Payback’s damage model can get very sensitive during long play times. Simply hitting a cone will leave dents and scrapes on your car. For the damage model in general (for both games), I can’t say. Both seem pretty equal.

id go with payback on this one. nice day cycle, beautiful selection of classic cars (which really gets my attention being a classic car enthusiast) and also a cool selection of newer cars. graphics are amazing, i love the customization and the story line as well as the cool races that you can do.

Yeah, in terms of handling, For Horizon is so superior it hurts. From what i have heard they will launch a new game called "Forza Street" or somthing like that. Guess that is a good bye for need For Speed xD

The fact people think handling in 2015 was better makes me think they didn't even play both games. 2015's handling was so bad that after I finished it. I've never touched it again. Frustratingly bad. Paybacks handling is ten times better but still pretty bad in my opinion.

I prefer payback more than 2015 for multiple reasons
Payback had better Handling system
Payback has better variety of events and much better progression (story)
Payback has better customization and also different modes of cars
Lesser bugs
But 2015 has better graphics and optimization
I get better fps

Need for speed is not about stupid off-road racing. It’s all about the mid 2000s street racing era which created Need for speed. Get rid of these stupid off-road races nobody even does.

Also, we need a REAL remaster _(not a reboot)_ of these both games with only a better painting mode, maybe like in Payback.
But not this HORRIBLE car physics and unplayable car behavior! We want a Underground remastered with an Underground physic.
In point of fact, the last three NFS games _(2015, Payback, Heat)_ would be WAYYY better if they didn't have this crappy physics. I'ts the worst failing of next gen NFS games imo.
And they repeated it thrice in a row... _(EA devs are close of their community for sure👍)_
