In a response to that we'd like to tell you that, Yes, A user with two roles (in your case- purchase and sales) can use separate email ids for both the roles. All that needs to be done is that both the Email IDs have to be setup in the "Email section" under USER doc of that particular user. @@KanakInfosystemsLLP I think he means in a specific workflow outgoing mails are documented, but the workflow dows not receive e-mails, when an outgoing E-mail is answered to. At least this is my issue. And a pitty that you did not go into the domain setting.

The outgoing email is visible in the doctype, but incoming emails are not.
