Hello, I come back to you with this video.
I'm finding Penthouse absurd to a new level this season and I wish it wasn't ruining the show as a whole.

About the song:
The song is Hollow by Yosh and Nobuo Uematsu (below i'll leave the link to the cover and original) which is the main theme of Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Now the song is about two best friends that ran away from a lab where they were injected with alien cells (jenova cells) and outside, one of them dies to protect the other.
The other is left trying to move on except he really doesn't because he has developed a kind of personality disorder from the trauma.
About Penthouse:
I thought somehow this song fitted Seo Jin and Eun Byeol. The lyrics struck me as easily connected to their scenes and story.
Lastly, I'm pretty sure Seo Jin isn't dead.
