- Hi everyone! My name is Cassie and this is my first video. I'm actually going to open a small sticker business locally here in the Philippines. My advice for you is to just keep practicing and draw whatever you think of.
I actually use a cheap pen tablet and a free software to draw. Hope that helps you

Hi May! gusto ko rin magka-sticker business like you. Suggest ko sayo mag-try gumawa ng designs sa Canva. It's free at madaling gamitin. Hindi nga lang makakapagdrawing don. Pero pwede texts, elements, icons, ganoin XD

I'm using an Epson L120. It's a good printer for beginners, but there are many printers better than this printer for sure
I haven't research what's the best printer for sticker business, so I can't recommend you anything 😅 I'm sorry 😭

My relative also told me that quaff is a good starting sticker paper for beginners
But you can try out different brands if you like

Actually I also thought about that when I wanted to open my shop. The day I opened my shop until this day, I only got 1 order. So my advice for you is to just "Keep moving forward" and "Just take your time" you don't need to rush. Wait for the time someone appreciate what you love to do because I know someone will

I just printed my design on sticker paper and photo paper
When it comes to photopaper I used a cold lamination film photo top and put in manually, so it becomes scratch proof

Oh no, first can you explained by how you can't print on glossy paper. The only thing I can think why you can't print in glossy paper, is that the paper is too thick (I used 135gsm sticker paper for my stickers and 180gsm for my photo paper)

I am thinking to open my own little bussiness but, i am just 14 and i want to be independent and want to know about money savings, managing etc but i can't buy appliances to make stickers DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA THAT HOW TO MAKE STICKERS WITHOUT THESE APPLIANCES 'I AM GOOD AT DIGITAL WORK' 🐻
Okay, I have some ideas for you. Please be aware that I am not an expert in this field, I am just a beginner. I'll just share my knowledge from what I learn from others 😁
1st : I suggest you to open a comission. I have a friend that started opening drawing comissions to earn some money for the gadgets that she needs for starting her sticker business. (I don't have any idea about comissions because I never done it. I'm so sorry, I can't answer any questions about comissions)
2nd : I suggest you to find a store who will print your stickers for you. Many sticker business started from this method. There are many online and physical stores who offers customizing stickers, art prints, business cards and etc. (But ofcourse it had to be your own design for you to sell it)
I actually sell button pins and memo pads that I design, it was manufactured by other people
I'll put other suggestions if I think of something else again

It's just a matter of trial and error
First you need inspiration, check out many pictures in pinterest or google. When I was just first starting out I go to pinterest and search for stickers or animal cartoon, because I think an animal character would be cute.
Then when you find the one that you like just draw and draw in digital or traditional until you find the style that you like.
I'm not very good at giving advices but I hope this helps you 😊
And when you find your character
You can start drawing your character in many cute and funny ways.
I used a free software called "Krita" it's a very good alternative to photoshop and a budget friendly pen tablet I bought from lazada
