4:35 I think the technicality is that bkb makes you immune to magic damage, however the bursts of hp loss are counted as magic HP removal. Since the debuff cannot be dispelled the hp loss bursts still happen whilst the ticking damage of maledict stops
It's not hp removal and description of bkb says "spell immune" and not "magic immune" but be my guest and test in demo with hood or any magic resistance. It is a weird case of undispellable magic damage that goes through immunity only if cast before bkb.
@@CrimsonPrisoner yeah I don't think it's true hp removal like soul ring as almost all of those types have been removed, but i think its like heartstopper aura which is a weird I'm between type that is effected by magic block/resist. Then again it follows different rules to heartstopper so it's probably just a weird undispelable case with spirit siphon being the only thing like it

BKB used to give 100% magic resist but it doesnt anymore, so anything that will pierce or not get removed from bkb should effect u with some execptions maybe.
WITCH doctor ultimate is DEATHWARD which is seperate object from his body which is why YOU CANT BLADEMAIL it compared to crystal maiden who's ultimate is PART OF HER body and dies to blademail xd
Looking back on it, Grub getting coached by all those pros so early in his Dota adventure was detrimental to his play. They were teaching him concepts and game mechanics well above herald. Now all he focuses on is inventory juggling, farming empty lanes to maximize gpm, controlling courier to buy items from secret shop etc.. He should just learn to look at minimap and be aware of what's going on.
I have an immortal friend I play with a lot that plays a lot of tank witch doctor mid. He goes 4-4-0 rushing holy locket and eternal shroud and Im not sure I 100% agree but it is strong and would’ve worked well this game. Love this hero, top 3 of my favourite supports to play - with maledict and ultimate your ability to solo kill any non mobile hero is crazy
