      joshoooooawwwww how is it not unlimited? Do you get charged extra or turned off after a certain amount? No, you don't. You get POSSIBLY slowed down after a set amount depending on POSSIBLE congestion.

      I agree let's introduce that legislation. If you look into it, it is ALREADY ILLEGAL and its called a bait and switch. Could a good law office could come with a pretty solid class action against Verizon at this point with the changes they are making effecting existing plans?

    Verizon, despite how expensive it is, has always blown me away with the quality of it's customer service. They have never once refused to work with me when I go through tough financial patches. Usually the "top dogs" don't go that extra mile. But with Verizon, they've turned me into a loyalist.

      Where you live maybe it does. But when it really comes down to phone coverage for calling Verizon and ATT are both tied for first. T-Mobile is in third and Sprint is in last. There is more to a cell phone company then just data. It is first and for most about the you know calling. Because the cell phone is you know still a cell phone.
      It wold take me for ever to send a text when I was with Sprint. I could not even make a damn call and I had a cell tower not far from me that Sprint used.

    • @blackfear1562
      @blackfear1562 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Delain124 maybe thats the way it is for older people but for me personally data is the most important factor. Most people Ik never make a traditional phone call if we do talk it's via something like Facebook or Skype. If it's not that form of call it's usually text or iMessage.
      I will say that I prefer making old school calls and have actually found AT&T to be the best at it in terms of clarity and T-mobile. However the least dropped calls goes to AT&T and Verizon but again for clarity it goes to the GSM carriers.
      Again though most communications in my age bracket uses some kind of data and not calls.

    • @3280unique
      @3280unique 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Andropple 101 Verizon charges to much and they were loosing ppl due to T-Mobiles unlimited plans that's why they came out with there own unlimited plans cause they only gave ppl 20g tops and if you went over it cost you $15 every extra gig!

    • @andropple1013
      @andropple1013 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well here's the deal bro. Yes, I fully agree this is why both AT&T and Verizon have now gotten back to unlimited deals, however don't be surprised that these are not fully 'unlimited'. They are trying to lure everyone into an idea that they are "giving" you an unlimited option which is not entirely true. After 22 gigs of data you're tapped out. Because when you roll down to 3g speeds? Sorry but that won't be worth it. I think people with grandfathered plans will stick to their original grandfathered plans because they are better then this new idea of "unlimited" data.

    • @evacody1249
      @evacody1249 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Um when people talk coverage they are not just talking about data they are talking about being able to you know MAKE PHONE CALLS. Verizon and ATT have T-mobile and Sprint beat there. They have far better call single then T-mobile and Sprint.
      There is a Sprint tower not far from my house and ever time I tired to use my old Sprint and then Virgin mobile. I would pick up my cell phone and I could not make a damn call. Even when I was in my room where it looked like I had a little big more of a signal if I moved it would drop. I switched to Metro PCS which is under T-Mobile same thing.
      I then switched to Verizon and low and behold I can make phone calls again.

      Jonathan & Ashley Vasquez Listen dumbass get your facts straight. #1. AT&T, 2. T-Mobile, 3. Verizon, 4. Sprint. At&t is way faster, and more densified than Verizon. In case you didn't know, AT&T has more spectrum than Verizon and AT&T is the carrier with most cell sites at 70,000.

    I already have AT&T. I was with Boost Prepaid carrier under Sprint)... and as much as I enjoyed the service, I couldn't stay. There were times it would take 2 minutes to send a text... 2 MINUTES! As I'm making this comment, I've already had AT&T for like 4 months, and I love their service. Not to mention, I didn't even know you could get service in my bedroom when I was Sprint (including Boost obviously). I was so happy when I accidently turned off the wifi on my IP7 and I had 4 bars, haha. if they release a new unlimited plan without their stupid tv package, I'll be a long loyal customer.

    Ok Guys ! Here’s the truth!! The best phone plans and service is going to depends on your finances and where you at. All companies doesn’t work every where, you first have to see the coverage in your area that the companies gives. Are companies aren’t created equal. Every body would assume it’s att or Verizon but you may be surprised to know .

    Not until 2019 or 2020 when Verizon and Sprint will be using GMS networks, because the CDMA will be obsolete and deleted by then.
    No other country in the world but the USA uses CDMA networks anymore as they are outdated and old.

  • @TheJessicaQueenlyshow

    Sprint is the best now! Hands down!! Most people nowadays are unaware of the major network improvements Sprint has made with in the last year or so. They actually have more coverage than ever before and they offer way more high speed data than the other carriers, all while giving you way more discounts and deals than any other carrier while also beating them in price.

    I hear everybody complain about Sprint but I even went into a T-Mobile store in San Antonio Texas I had my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus and I laid it down on the table right next to the Samsung Galaxy S9 plus I put them both on to play 1080 videos not even 1420 my Sprint plays uninterrupted T-Mobile's kept stopping I played exact same TH-cam video. I've driven from New York to California the only place I had interruptions was as I hit the mountains going from Arizona and New Mexico into California but other than that I had solid coverage. I agree that sometimes the data speeds are slower but it's consistent I don't usually get less than 35 down and 25 up

  • @joshnc101

    I needed an excuse to buy a new phone, what better way to do that when Verizon comes out with unlimited data plan at a competitive price! So yesterday I made the switch from MetroPCS (owned by T-Mobile). Their signal is fairly good except when I drive out into the country on the west side of my town, pretty much nothing for 30+ miles, but that can change real soon. Don't count out T-Mobile yet for coverage, because they are improving at a very high rate.
    When they make more improvements to coverage in my region, I'll likely switch back to Metro after I pay off my new iPhone.

    What i find crazy is that all you need unlimited plans in 2018. Do you seriously not have wifi at home and work?

  • @Micahj36
    @Micahj36 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I work for AT&T and the unlimited plan is not $150. You do not have to get Directv to have unlimited. Unlimited with AT&T is actually $95, with the option of getting directv with $15 off and HBO free for life. Directv is OPTIONAL.

      Use the coverage maps that are on Verizon's, ATT's, T-Mobile, and Sprints web sites. Though to be honest of those four you are better of picking from the first three Sprint has really bad coverage in both data and call coverage.

      @markechio 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Eric L don't visit the carrier websites because they all lie....the best way I can tell you is www.sensorly.com/map#|coverage they use real data and you can compare coverage

    I used to have Verizon for 6 years and is truly the best and then I’ve switched to sprint because of the unlimited option that Verizon didn’t have at that time.
    Sprint is excellent for the money and service they provide and I really can’t complain,the price is a bargain. T-Mobile and att not on my list ever, I’ve had them both before and both are out for good and forever!

    Great video.
    I've had T-Mobile for years and have been loyal to them. They are bold and make a lot of promises. For me the quality of their network has dropped. If you use too much "Unlimited" data, they slow your service down so much that it makes it difficult to use your device. Frustrating.

  • @zacmassey
    @zacmassey 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    We have the four you spoke about in the video as well as a popular regional carrier in Mobile AL called C Spire. They're a CDMA network without VoLTE capability. their one line unlimited data plan is $65. I prefer Verizon out of all five of those, even though the price is a little more, you just get the best service in my opinion, so you do get what you pay for.

    To quote a friend.... "Every carrier sucks, it just depends where you are standing when you ask the question"
    For me; sprint works well in mid west area (Chicago, Indianapolis, Dayton, Cincinatti, and most between) though I know they HEAVILY drop off the more west you go and T-mobile is massive in west coast developments.

    SPRINT FTW!
    *Interesting in that I've watched many videos covering price plans or the best plans on a carriers yet they completely go off the subject and this one is no different.
    -if you simply stick to the subject at hand which is plans or Price plans or best price plans amongst carriers then at the end simply state go with which network carrier works best for you instead of ranting throughout the segment.
    In most videos like this one they haven't personally had first-hand experience with that carrier but they are quick to judge. I take it if they believe others or read things and take it at face value like the Earth is flat then they would believe that as well instead of doing the logical thing and trying it out first see if it works for you or not.
