I was born and raised in Memphis, been listening all my life too this kind of music and I STILL can't get enough!!! RL did it HIS way and his way was BAAAAAAAAAAAD... RIP RL
Mr Burnside started out doing self accompanied acoustic Blues, which I still like the best. He was capable of embracing the progression of that music with his family to all out Rock & Roll and even beyond.
Of course it would have been nice if he found his fortune earlier, but at least they (the white recording executives) didn't turn him into another cleaned up blues man for the masses like so many of them. I just hope RL was a happy man when he passed away. I treasure his music.
You guys are being silly. Dinkydao is right, that's Cedric Burnside, RL's grandson, on drums. He's a great musician in his own right. If RL hadn't wanted to make music like this, he wouldn't have. Don't try to put that "sell out" crap on him.

Best blues man ever! Saw him live in Ottawa Fantastic!!!
RL’s sure the real deal (like Muddy, Bill Broonzy, Howlin’ Wolf, Robert Johnson, Elmore, etc ) but this was John Lee Hooker-influenced all the way.

Thats John Schooley.
A guess on the guitar is Univox. Not really sure.
Does anyone know if these three did any studio recording together or even any live albums?
@Weltar Thanks for the answer mate, is it perhaps a Fender Japan Tele?
