well, days later would be the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Fall of the Berlin Wall first before the collapse of the USSR. Two years apart
Six days after the news bulletin, Berlin Wall fell. Tas uso ang mga rebolusyon sa Eastern Europe noon. Velvet Revolution (Czechoslovakia), Singing Revolution (Baltic countries), etc.

Ganun din sa Theme ng TV Patrol.
Until late 1995.
"The World Bank will release the last trench of economic loan worth $100M "... ngayon ko lang nalaman, not real money actually, pero yung ipinambabayad, real money coming from the people, the energy coming from the people

It was before ACJ would have included "Mabuhay!" at the end of the program.
I think it would be included when they moved to ANC
ACJ started adding “Mabuhay” to his closing spiel noong mismong centennial year (1998).
It seems to be a counterpart of Dan Rather's one liner spiel, "Courage".
@@svchua7773 mabuhay is a more welcoming term. may storya ang paggamit ni Dan Rather ng courage eh, and not a good one.
@@mangdannyboy as early as 1992 pa niya ginagamit yun.
I think in the following year which that was 1990, Amy Godinez was moved to IBC.
Nostalgia!
I wonder if the news about the Menendez Brothers was aired in The World Tonight.
I doubt it cuz it didn't have any impact to the world. It's a local national news in the U.S. only.
this was way before i was born but i just find it incredibly hypocritical of loren legarda to have voted against the ABS CBN franchise renewal
I was grade in 3 during those times
