there is a really nice resturant next to the music hall in san marco, had our mean within 20 min tops of ordering and it was super fresh, delicious and reasonably proced, i have the card somewhere but it was great.
@TheVenetist I was in Venice yesterday and I'm very happy to see the tricolor on the windows and the masks dedicated to 150 years of unification of great Italy...you are a small minority...

well there aren't many people on la giudecca but you wil admit ther is not much to see either. It's the residential "district "of Venice. You go there to live not to explore the town though it's nice and quiet just as many other areas inVenice!

BEWARE OF THE SMELL! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I am originally from Paciano Umbria of Italy and when I go back every summer to see family, we usually go over to Venice. It is gorgeuos but the smell is absolutely terrible. They do not have proper plumbing and human waste is in the water. I love it besides the smell.

do not go to venice if you don't have a boat.
there is a lot of humidity and bad smell, food is expensive and bad; stay at home tourists and choose a better destination.
Waste of time. Ends up way more expensive. I am in Venice now in a lovely hotel that costs less than her mooring costs! Ten mins walk from st. mark's square

I love Venice very much. Sometimes even too much lol. I even started learning italian, and saving up some money, not just to visit venice, but maybe even buy a cozy apartment.
Nice video. Been to Venice twice, but never thought about renting a boat. That's a very nice idea. Plus quite cheap Gondola ride. Fantastic. Only one thing I would like to change in Venice is those crowds of tourists, though i am one of them.. :) Somehow the less people you see in some part of the city, more magical and fantastic it appears to be.
Anyway, one of the most brilliant city's i have ever been to. I am sure to come back there again and again and..
I'm Filipino, when I went to Venice, A lot of girls were attracted to me like I'm this hot popular guy passing by. I don't know why. That's when I met this uber Hot girl in the club and lost my virginity. I felt exotic loosing my virginity in Venizia, Italia. Ever since then I got this confident boost, and dates Italian girls in America, and there were many in America.
Nice place, but at night i found the creepy manequins left outside the shops, quite frightening. Obviously i put on a brave face in front of the lady, but inside, i was petrified.
My friends and I are thinking of interrailing around europe and we want to visit venice could we hire out one of the larger boats for a couple of days?
