I just pre-ordered that yellow warbird you showed since it is my first warbird and I think this is too big for me until I get better. I like you showing SAFE mode flights because I use it 90% of the time. The older flyers say I shouldn't do that but I like buying these to help my local hobby shops who are suffering because of covid. I still have 2 that I have not flown yet and I hang them in a secret place using that string method you shoed a while back so my wife can't find them!

Great maiden on a windy day! Those wide scale landing gear seem to handle cross winds better than most warbirds. Love the scale features and detachable outer wing. I want one to hunt Mustangs in my gun sight!
The Fw-190 has always been my favorite warbird. So I just pulled the trigger on the combo. Can’t wait to get it! Might have to put skis on it to maiden it though lol
Yep fantastic plane can’t wait to fly this one. Is this the biggest war bird you’ve had on the channel 🤔 hard to go back to small planes after you get into 60 size birds nothing flys like these birds. These really feel like the old balsa birds without all the building. Such an amazing time to be in the RC hobby.
Two thoughts: The warbird guys are going to lose their minds drooling over this one, and in spite of the fact that it looks like a great scale flyer, they are going to gripe about "not enough power". Such is life. Not everything should go 100mph and have unlimited vertical, maybe? Great looking plane. And this is the great thing about the NX6: before, anyone who wanted to fly a plane with flaps and retracts and keep the ability to put SAFE on a switch had to pony up the bucks for a DX8 or go with an 8e and sacrifice some features. The NX6 will be a great full-featured "6 channel" that will open up those flaps/retracts planes for a more reasonable price.
Fantastic. I think the rc world has been waiting on a quality manufacturer like Eflite to come out with an Axis warbird and the FW190 is iconic. Pricey yes. But you pay for quality.
Bought yesterday my E-FLITE FW 190 at Horizon Europe. Do not know when i will recieve it here in Belgium. But it looks so awesome, so great, and the thechnology in the plane is so great. Thanks so much for the succesfull maiden flight. Best regards from Belgium, Hugo

WOW! Huge. The FW 190 is one of my favorite warbirds. A dogfight with a P-51 would be cool...even better would be a Spitfire. I've "plans" for a 1/6 scale TA-152 (the final iteration of the FW-190 design). Maybe someday I'll get it built. Nice flying Nat. Nice camera work Abby

U dont need to tranform it ..... simply bind in safe and assign it to a switch! I use "B" on my NX6....awesome tramamitter basically its a 7 channel transmitter

Yeah, let's not forget how many Americans are employed by Eflite. I am all for getting costs down. People say they want American made, but don't want to pay the cost. This is American distributed with customer service on the phone etc.. plus the new SMART technology packed in. There are cheaper FW 190s out there for sure. Thanks for watching 👍😁😎⚓

Looks amazing!! So cool they have done an axis plane. I have a quick question, I'm just getting back into flying and have decided to be realistic and go for a carbon cub but am very keen on getting the nx6 so I have the transmitter for other models as I get better. Would the nx6 bind up to the receiver in the cub? Thanks.
What's to hear the wind from the prop? The sound of the inaccurate overpriced airframes drag displacing the air? It's amazing how the hobby has gone further and further with less and less flite time. Why would you prefer this sound over a 4 stroke saito or OS? 2 strokes are great for speed and personally I cant get enough of fuel smell or sound. But some dont like 2 strokes. Till they see my giant scale super stearman or giant scale p51 d or my race shoestring pass by with smoke on at 160mph
Wondered why you would 'trim' while in 'SAFE' ? Isn't it going to search for level anyway and counteract the trim s you just put in? It seems that you should trim while in normal flight mode first, it would then be fine in SAFE also. Just wondered.

Oh yeah, this thing is awesome! Yes, but gas planes take more time to tinker on and get ready to fly. If I didn't have a TH-cam channel, which takes tons of time, I would probably own more gas and glow engines. 👍😁😎⚓
Oh yes, there is nothing cheap about this RC at all! Something worth saving those stimulus checks for ;-) It is all just a matter of priority. This is our main hobby (obviously, lol) so we try to treat ourselves to something nice occasionally but if all of our planes cost this we would be without a home!!

That is a pretty cool warbird and I'm partial to the larger scale planes and they're not as susceptible to wind conditions as smaller scale planes are

That inner fan inside the cowling is actually very scale as the full size FW190 has the same thing to cool the engine

Oh yeah, this thing is awesome! Yes, but gas planes take more time to tinker on and get ready to fly. If I didn't have a TH-cam channel, which takes tons of time, I would probably own more gas and glow engines. 👍😁😎⚓

dont forget, with as3x, when you make trim adjustments, you need be off the sticks for a short time so as3x recalibrates for the trim change

Oh yes, there is nothing cheap about this RC at all! Something worth saving those stimulus checks for ;-) It is all just a matter of priority. This is our main hobby (obviously, lol) so we try to treat ourselves to something nice occasionally but if all of our planes cost this we would be without a home!!
