- The runners for the Memphis to Peoria St. Jude Run are taking off Wednesday for their annual 465-mile run.
For one runner, he didn’t think he would make the trip this year once he found out he needed double knee replacement surgery.
Fortunately, one doctor was willing to take the risk and it changed Scott Elger’s trajectory and mindset.
