There are 2 moments that stuck out for me from the speech. One was that cannon fire and the spouses of the President and Vice President. The spouses panicked a little and it was so heartwarming to see Jill's reaction to protect her husband. And 2 was at the end when Biden asked a family member "Do you want my coat". @Dean Soings might I remind you that 1. This is in the middle of the pandemic. 2. There has been not enough funding for the electoral department. 3. There is about 300 million more people in the country now than when the Founding Fathers decided this law. 4. It is deciding of electors and not of the President. 5. If vote counting stretches on it is no one's fault but the lack of counters at polls which brings me back to point 2.
@Miggity_ I'm not condoning anybody's actions here, Trump shouldn't be golfing, Dems should stay at home and wear masks when going outside. Also, Republicans should stop crowding the streets as well. Talk about both sides if you want, don't make it a one-sided argument to fit your agenda.
There are 2 moments that stuck out for me from the speech. One was that cannon fire and the spouses of the President and Vice President. The spouses panicked a little and it was so heartwarming to see Jill's reaction to protect her husband. And 2 was at the end when Biden asked a family member "Do you want my coat". That simple act of chivalry and decency just warmed my heart.
And the country and the world took a sigh of relief 💙
I was honestly waiting for Biden to call a group of people “idiots” or “morons” or any stupid shit. So it was really strange to hear a normal speech but here’s to new beginnings!
