Eurostar Seat Classes Compared | Standard, Standard Premier & Business Premier

In this video we compare the seat classes on the Eurostar train. They are Standard, Standard Premier and Business Premier.
We took the Eurostar Paris to London train in standard class. This is our first time riding the underwater train that connects France to the UK. In Eurostar standard class our meals were not included so we bought food from the dining car on board. We started at the Paris Gare du Nord station and ended at London Pancras Station.
The Eurostar train reaches a top speed of 186mph on this trip that takes 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Standard premier and business premier have exactly the same seat configuration. The only advantages of business premier over standard premier is lounge access, size of meal and flexibility. I fully agree the best option is standard premier!

I commute between London - Paris quite often for work. The standard seats aren’t that good, way too busy & cramped. Standard premier offers the best value

Question: how do I make sure I book the seats that don’t have 2 other seats facing you
I see four seats and want to avoid the 4 seats
I prefer just 2 seats facing the back of the 2 seats in front of me

With business class, are you able to change your tickets the day off for an earlier time or later time? Will be heading to the station after a cruise and not sure what time I will get tot he station

I take it that the food shown at 5.24 - 5.33 then again at around 7.48 is not part of the 3-course meal designed by a celebrity chef that you mention?
If so, then I'd say not worth it if the food is an important aspect.
It would be useful for people to know if what you were eating is typical of the '3-course meal' before selecting Business Prem and hoping for a proper 3-course meal served on proper plates.

I'd recommend TrainPal. Cheaper tickets as I compared over others and smooth ticketing. Looking into train card sales as well lol.

Awesome I’m leaving this September for London and will take this to Paris.
Question: my ticket is standard class, is it safe to leave my backpack in my seat if I leave my seat for the restroom, food etc ? Thank you.

In my opinion it is very safe if you just leave your backpack on your seat, as long as you do not leave it wide open. There are no bag snatchers because they simply wouldn’t be able to go anywhere with your backpack! Think of it like flying in an airplane.

I’ll just take standard. You can always get up and stretch your legs on the train. I don’t care if the seat isn’t the best. It’s a two hour trip.

You need to learn how to hold the camera more steady. This is giving me motion sickness.

I didn't have any problem with motion sickness. The camera looked steady to me. The train was the only thing I noticed that was moving. I had 2 people tell me I drove with a nervous foot and 1 said I gave her motion sickness.

I Got london to France in Standard Premier $130 but 2 months advance :D so I am happy about it

Did you use TrainPal? I just found out that they are the lowest ticket-offeree platforms. I'm thinking to buy train cards. It's on sale.
