    So I love Conch but I had gotten terribly sick from raw seafood in the past. Hence I would wonder if you steamed the conch do you think it would still taste good? Have you tried steamed conch with this recipe? Just curious your thoughts?

    Where do you get the conch from? And do you cook the conch? I just never heard of conch salad and you said it’s a fish?

    • @YESChefCreates
      @YESChefCreates  ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried to see where I said fish but didn't hear it. Conch is a sea snail. I brought mine frozen from a seafood spot in the hood. You eat it raw like this or cooked like in conch fritters.

    Most people I know use scotch bonnet pepper, but I use jalapeños.

    Just came across your channel and it looked great. I was wondering if you boil the conch 1st or is it raw

    • @YESChefCreates
      @YESChefCreates  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can, but for a salad, it should be raw.

    Love it!!! ❤️ All you needed was pineapple and apples to have what we call tropical conch salad since you had the mango.

    Why do you cut citrus like that? It seems intentional but it is very odd.

    • @YESChefCreates

      Cause it's my food...that I'M EATING. If I was making it for you then, I'd use gloves. My food, my house, my rules. Nigh, leave me alone nigh! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Is this made with raw conch?

    • @YESChefCreates
      @YESChefCreates  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, in the Caribbean it is caught in the ocean and made right then once extracted from the shell.

      Yep, RAW. In the islands, they go down and get them and make it right on the dock. Fresh out of the water.
