EXO has had 8 active members since 2017. Lay is still considered part of the group, but he no longer actively performs with them. My kpop journey began with EXO in 2013. I immediately liked them so much that I tried really hard to find other groups I liked anywhere near as much, but I never have. If I hadn’t heard an EXO song as my first K-pop, I don’t think I would have stuck with the genre. As others have said, it’s the vocals for me, and the amount and style of the rap is a perfect compliment. I’m just not drawn in by the frenetic dancing and rapping that are all you see anymore. Much of the 3rd generation and all of the 4th and 5th has no appeal to me. That’s not to say my playlist doesn’t include music by other groups or soloists (7th Sense by NCT is one of the greatest debut songs) but its here or there, not entire albums. Anyway, I appreciate that you say what you think!

The guys from EXO, all of them are excellent singers and dancers, their company SM has not been dedicated enough to exploit the full potential of EXO worldwide, perhaps that is why they have not reached more places yet, also due to the hiatus that they had due to military service, by 2025 they will all be out of SM (Kai and Sehún) we are sure that we will have more and more of EXO, thank you very much for your reactions.
As an exo fan, I've been following them for 12 years, I think if you didn't like the songs, that's okay, because I also really love new groups like NCT, exo was my first group, and how I love Vocalists, since my family is made up of musicians, there was no way I wouldn't like them, BUT I think everyone has an appreciation for something, don't feel pressured. I also noticed how much you liked KAI's solo songs, I thought it made total sense given your background as a dancer and your tastes hahaha I really like your reactions, I'm leaving here a request for you to react to Jaemin and Jeno's friendship, there are several videos, they are best friends And I think you would like to react to how cute their interactions are, thanks. 🎉❤
What do you mean by "shine" more? I don't understand. Exo are a group that sing...together or solo, they always shine because it's the vocals we fall in love with. If you started with groups like Nct or Bts, you're comparing apples and oranges....EXO ARE SINGERS, yes they have main dancers and main rappers, but they sing.....and their songs are made to showcase their harmonies and musicality. EXO are not your fast paced dance fast rap shock value styles like the younger groups of today that do it so well. Exo are singers. Not many groups sing like Exo anymore, 'the standards'. Old school easy listening....their vocals are what has amassed their massive worldwide fandom over the years, from having many members to the current 8 Korean members, Exo has done pretty well for themselves, and are an iconic group...regardless of the 'shine' you are looking for, Exo has been a group all younger groups have watched over the years and wanted to be like....they are a multi-talented group, and you just need to concentrate on learning the current 8 members. Everyone knows these 8 members like household names, they are everywhere in the public, more so than Nct.

So nothing I say id the right answer. It is just a thought. We never know why someone appeal more to us than others. But some factors are the same. For me MV is doing much. And listen to a cd over and over again. But why I love k-pop is for the whole paccage. I think that SM could have made more MV for their artists. But all your comments makes me se things in another way. That is why it is so exciting. But why I like one over the other, I do not know, and very often more and more of the members grow on me. But I struggle when it is 9 or more members. It feels more than a choir than a band. But I am not finished with my journey, so we will how I feel in the end. You can just be honest and say the truth instead of dragging it and making others misunderstand. And why did not the Norwegian music programs show me this music? This is my sorrow and to talk about that is the purpose of this channel. I I had heard MAMA when it was released, I think I would have been a fan from then.
