- Once a year, the city of Amsterdam looks like a smurf convention. Everybody and anybody whos into denim descend on the Dutch capital to celebrate the Amsterdam Denim Days.
But Amsterdam is not only the capital of Holland, it is also the self-titled "Denim Capital of the World". And fair enough, with brands like G-Star, Denham, Pepe, PVH, that Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. King of Indigo. And of course, my personal fav out of these, Benzak Denim Developers all having their home base there as well as the Jeans School dedicated to training up the next generation of denim designers. There is a lot happening in denim in the city.
The Amsterdam Denim Days is an extension of the cities dedication to denim and celebrate all things denim. It is a mecca for anyone who has ever owned and loved a pair of jeans and a place where the denim community comes together.
And, after a little break, it is coming back in April 2022.
