A very cool set from the folks at NECA! We like this three-pack quite a bit! The vivid colors and smart, purposeful use of paint make this set for us; we especially enjoy the reddish-orange color, which is similar to either scarlet or bright coral. Awesome review! Thanks, Anthony!
A colourfully fetching set to be sure, this Shredder Clones 3-pack would look lovely on the shelf. And with those vibrant colours-blue, purple, vermillion, all contrasted rather nicely with the comic-style illustration (i.e., painted black ‘shading’)-they truly pop, and I fancy them a unique set for TMNT fans. Well done, NECA!👍 Thank you for sharing, Giovanni Marino, M.D.🇬🇧
I just picked up this set on sale, and like it a lot more than I thought I would. I didn’t think I would like the red of the claw shredder; but in hand he’s very cool. I especially love the four-armed purple figure who looks great paired with the all blue foot enforcer.
Me being all in on everything NECA turtles I’m glad these are out. Now I have to separate my Mirage and IDW color figures into separate displays. I’d love the original Neca turtles released in IDW colors.
The purple and red figures are UV reactive and look great under a black light. They emit a bright pink and orange glow. Unfortunately the little blue guy is not.
I think I'd like this set more if they were all the same color instead of three different ones. I'm guessing that wouldn't be accurate to whatever the source is for them so I'm just going off of pure aesthetic. It is good that NECA got that Loot Create exclusive out again, though why they locked one of the three clones behind that service to begin with is perplexing. I can only assume they thought there would be a round 3 for the other clones to be slotted into, but the second wave went so bad that they probably abandoned the idea of doing more.
If I'm recalling correctly, these were created by the Foot after Shredder was killed in issue 1. They're basically failed clones of Shredder which is why they're pretty ugly and weird looking.
These guys put a lot of the Hasbro marvel, legends, animated series figures, to shame. I know that sell shading for an animated series is different than this comic book look but still THIS is how you do a proper stylization of figures.
When IDW reprinted the Mirage comics, they colored them like this. Why? I have no idea.

I’m glad to hear you do not have a flap on your package. That can be a medical condition if gone untreated lol.
I'm currently watching the 2003 TMNT series so when I saw ur video in my feed I actually recognized the characters

Bought it for basically the same reason. Thought it would look cool on the shelf and Neca does a good job with this comic shaded figures
Between these and the original release colors, I prefer the look of these ones. Just having one main color to them looks cooler imo
On sale at Best Buy for 18.99 right now…worth getting?!

Just tested under 365nm and 400nm .. wow they look super
Austin video Anthony and yeah I love you too I just can't quite afford the variations of all the turtles right now LOL😂
I have the original mirage colors so I haven’t picked these up but the idw colors are really nice too. Very cool variants.

Waste of plastic imo
Not my cup of tea, to be honest.
