Hello Dani Belo, Thanx for your interest 😁 Khar is an traditional Assamese ingredient i.e, Bheem Kol ( Botanical name : Musa bulbasiana) peel's ash extract which is similar to sodium bicarbonate with a strong aromatic flavour. Basically Banana peels are sun-dried, burnt and then the ashes are soaked overnight in water. Strain water and this strained alkaline water / liquid is called khar. Hope it helps !!
