Got recommended this video by the almighty algorithm! Really enjoyed your reaction and I’m excited to follow your One Piece journey! To echo the other comments a bit, most reactors do 2/3 episodes of OP per reaction and post reactions 2/3 times a week. This kind of schedule is tried and tested and it seems to be the one that works best for other OP reactors. They only switch to 1 per week when they’re caught up and watching weekly. Most people who watch OP reactions have already seen OP, so watching a 1 ep per week reaction of 1000 episodes isn’t ideal. Just a thought
RE watching in dub. You’re right that for reactions, watchers will crucify you for watching the dub lol. You’ll get used to reading the subs and watching at the same time, imo it’s worth it because the sub voice actors are legendary in the anime world.

appreciate your one piece reactions, really glad you are doing it!! but with only 1 episode a week on youtube you need like 18 years to catch up, or well you will never catch up since there is a new episode almost every week as well. i know yall need to be a head over at patreon but still for the youtube guys it will take forever this way

Our subscribers do matter but Our patreon directly supports What we watch and is a driving force for keeping us going doing what we are doing they suggest shows, talk with us about shows may do well on youtube and much more . Nothing shady about it if we were not as far as we were in hunter hunter it wouldn't be on youtube yet we had another show running that wasnt getting enough love on yt but does on patreon so we decided to bring one piece here even though we were not as far as we would have liked to have been before uploading it

Btw... This isn't a spoiler but a funfact: Notice how Captain Morgan wears a metal thingy on his jaw... One can think that he dis it to hide his weird-looking chin! He's self-conscious about it! I love little details like this. And they're sprinkled all over the show!

I'm not trying to come off as an entitled viewer asking for more when I say this, is just that I've seen this before, witnessing so many channels trying to tackle OP, failing and sometimes dropping it because no one's watching the videos. I think starting One Piece as a reaction series on youtube isn't a very good a idea if you're not prepared to release at least 2/3 episode reactions per video every 2 days in a consistent basis till you get caught up, and that sounds like a lot, because it is, that's why I never recommend this show to reactors and I don't think most OP fans realise what they're asking when they do.
One Piece fans will always bring you views and hype at the begining of the journey.. but truth is most of them aren't going tune in to watch every reaction (of a poorly paced show they don't realize it's poorly paced because everyone binged it), people just want to see you react to their favorite moments, and how long they stick around or not is by how fast you try to get to them.
We understand your concern but we are also releasing this at a faster pace on our patreon so it’s not something we are actually watching once a week

Na bro people love to watch one piece reaction . I mean many reactors just give time stamp and no video audio in their reaction and still their channel got boosted when they started one piece . I myself have seen subscribers grow like crazy when supermecha frieza and RT TV started watching one piece. One piece is a weekly show not a season show because of which it's always in the algorithm and also topic of trend 📈 time to time. One piece reaction will be better performing and get more clicks. However it's really not a big issue if they want to go at their own pace watching it as it's hard to manage so many shows reactions and eventually they will give us multiple eps a week.

I feel the voice acting makes it quite literally a different show. The English voice acting is unbalanced and veeeery off when in English and this is from someone who started it in English for 200 episodes, switched to the subbed and almost immediately went back to rewatch/reread because it was THAT different in later episodes with other characters. No flack or hate to the voice actors, it's not easy adapting languages but the sheer emotional range and capability of the OG voice actors is uh....It makes you wanna live :)
I have a little suggestion that one piece can watch more episodes at a time because the length of each story is too long.

I don't mind, english dub or dub of any sort as long as it's done decent but let me tell you, Don't EVER watch ONE PIECE in english. It is absolutely terrible, sure some voice actors does a decent job but they have completely ruined Luffy's VA in english. Luffy is the MC and you NEED to nail his voice acting. Luffy's va alone makes the entire english dub unwatchable.
Compare that to the Japanese voice acting...ONE PIECE probably has one of the best casts of voice actors. So watching the series in other language just does disservice to the series.
Well, I actually + here. I don't think it's that terrible (well, better than 4kids) but all that great work that original voice actors put in One Piece you won't find in in eng dub. Just open any emotional scene and compare dub and original and you won't need any arguments what's better. And yes Luffy's voice is torture to my ears.
Piece of advice- avoid the fillers

One Piece barely has filler and the filler is good
I am being honest it isn't worth to watch 1000 from beginning. From your channel growth and you can cover multiple good animes too , don't get it wrong I love one piece but I am seeing it for years weekly , seeing from beginning doesn't make sense.
