I was told that it was really bad before I even got to neon mixtape and thought I’d keep using spike rock but no, it’s a really good plant with (I’ve been told) the highest dps with 200 and a cheap sun cost to boot
Kind of surprised that Magnifying Grass isn't in the top 5. In a game like PVZ2, because of the 50sun meta sun is basically irrelevant as getting lots of sun is very easy, making Magnifying Grass essentially infinite damage. But still, a great list nonetheless.

Phat Beet does so little damage since its attacking rate was nerfed. Back then it was somewhat serviceable and I remember it being faster when it was released.
Yeah on a previous account I lost I used Phat Beet on most of the levels cuz I liked it, it was also doing okay Then I made a new account and was wondering why I was struggling more than usual with using it and was wondering why, so they actually nerfed him, sad
I think garlic is an okay plant. Although is doesn’t have any health, that hardly matters when levels are so short and not many zombies spawn on a single lane. It makes it so that on some levels that you don’t have to bother planting any expensive attackers to deal with zombies, saving time and resources. It’s especially good in Jurassic Marsh in the same sense Spring Bean is good, as it diverts zombies away from lanes with any dinosaurs in them.
Yes but it's a mere shadow compared to pvz1 garlic because that garlic had a 5 second recharge and could take more than 5 zombie bites and only really got countered by 2 or 3 types of zombies. The pvz2 version is unlocked so late in the game that even in Jurassic marsh most of the zombies will just be booted or flown over the garlic anyway.
It's kinda funny how Garlic in the sequel has 600 health compared to 400 But in PvZ, the diversion is instant while in PvZ2, there is a 1 second delay so the zombie eating it will bite it 3 times (unless you place Garlic on a minecart or use Hurrikale, it will still divert with one bite.), dealing 150 damage. And quick math: 600/150 = 4 zombies diverted 400/50 = 8 zombies diverted
Garlic usually needs stalling plants on top of itself or for you to use Aloe. It's still one of my favorite plants bc of Electric Current being a fun gimmick I enjoy.
There is a trick that can be used with Intensive Carrot is when the plant you being powered up after you picked the powerup from your Zen Garden, it can double the power plant effect. For example, when you have a powered Primal Potato Mine, when you planted it, it will multiply, and when it dies or explode, you can plant it with Intensive Carrot to benefit with its powered up ability. That is why I kinda like using Intesive Carrot if I have a powered plant, but if I don't have any, I won't use it.
Phat beet is useless enough in adventure mode. However Phat Beet is so powerful in Highway to The Danger Room, Endless Zone of Modern Day. With a limited column because of ridiculous portal spam to the 5th column, phat beet is very useful against shields, jesters, octos, imps swung by gargantuars, and especially boombox zombies. However you still needs main attacking plant with high damage like winter melon, turkey pult, dusk lobber, and electric peashooter. My strategy for freebies, at least to survive until level 50 is : - Winter melon in first column - Twin sunflower/sun shroom/primal sun in second column - Phat beet in third and fourth column And make sure skip level if there is all-star zombie above level 10
8:04 its also worth mentioning that Stunion can't stun Far Future mechs, while Iceberg and Stalia can affect them. It makes the other two much mroe favorable in levels with those enemies (niche situation but still worth bringing up)
9:38 I think I have an explanation for this. A lot of plants have had their base stats adjusted as the Level Cap got increased and more plants with new gimmicks got introduced. This nerf would have been right before Plant Leveling was added (unironically my favorite feature in the game, I will not die on this hill, I will slaughter on this hill), and iirc Phat Beet's PF does get stronger as it levels up. The problem is that they chose to implement that as a nerf to the base form, rather than something new it can do thanks to levelling, like how Snow Pea and Flaming Pea got minor buffs that were just "new ability from leveling" and then later added on to the level 1 versions to make them still be special, with the powered-up projectile simply becoming significantly more common as it grows. 10:25 Finally someone acknowledging that Sun-shroom is just outright better than twinny. It's faster to put out and eventually start putting out 75 sun at a time, for 25 sun cost. I fully acknowledge that Primal is just that but better but consider this: Primal Sunflower is UGLY and i don't want to use it :3 I see WHY people call it "cute," I just disagree that it is. Personally, I think it might be good for these lists to start having honorable mentions! Right after the vid ended I realized you never mentioned holonut (Infi-nut)! I prefer it to primal because of its regeneration and Plant Food Ability being a perfect counter for so many zombies. It stops ANY flyer (except dinos carrying zombies, nothing stops that except Perfume-shroom), it stops fishers, it stops Eighties Garg. In NMT endless, I always try to get it ASAP so I can run holonut in columns 3 and 6. Because with that much of an impenetrable wall, you really only need 4 columns of attackers, especially if Winter Melon is involved. I'd also love to shine some light on Tile Turnip. Easily one of my favorites, I almost ALWAYS have it with me if I can help it. Yeah it's pretty restricted at level 1, but that's why I level my plants. After just a few level-ups, you can already have up to nine of them! I like running a setup with it that puts a holonut and at least on sun producer on them, so all I have to do is PF my producer or Holonut and an entire wave just disappears. Thyme Warp deserves a mention for obvious reasons. I can't think of any adventure plants I explicitly think are worse than what's in this list though, although that's probably because I only ever use about a dozen plants and forget about most of them. Pepper-pult, hilariously, is one of those plants. I know it's statistically a slightly better cabbage (definitely one of the worst plants in this game, but it's at least capable of doing things) but I find pepper-pult to be quite cute and there's still that tinge of nostalgia for the excitement around seeing a China-Exclusive plant being brought over. To be fair to the pepper, he's great with Sap-fling. Yes, it's just a worse Winter Melon at that rate, but it's cheaper! Also, again, I choose to level my plants as levels become naturally available (not really grinding anything) so my pepper pult is slightly stronger than the average one.
I feel like the only drawback to primal potato mine is the fact its the last plant in jurrasic marsh yet in the next world, big wave beach, which is also the second last world, it's completely ruined by the fact its practically useless besides low tide where most dangerous zombies like fisherman and octopus zombie are usually only dangerous in the back
l will come and say this right now but spring bean used to be one of my main plants back when you could use its plant food and use the blover and just like that clear the entire map.l am still so upset that they took its one and only aspect that didn't make it useless outside of the pirate seas😢
@@koalapvz why you don't put celery salker on the because celery salker is the best plant In pvz 2 because he can kill gagenture in a few seconds sorry I miss spealing of gagenture I am asian so I don't know that much english

5:10 Fire Peashooter is also outclassed by Snapdragon due to the fact that Snapdragon can warm plants nowadays making Fire Peashooter not worth it to buy gems despite the fact you can buy with gems.
Fire peashooter is waaay stronger than snapdragon and doesn't rely on defensive plants while being like 1 sun more expensive, its absolutely not outclassed
@@gerwaltspodnovigradu5508 I mean, Jesters exist and Snapdragon has aoe damage, making it way better than Fire Peashooter imo, although Fire pea does 40 damage while snapdragon does 30 damage.
For the best 5 plants, id like to make an Argument for Chard guard. A really useful stal plant with a decent recharge time and also only 75 sun cost. Also you unlock him pretty early in the game compared to plants like dusklobber or primal wallnut, wich is another plus in my book
primal potato mine is a plant I never hear people talk about that much and im so glad it got number one. literally every primal plant is OP in the game and im glad that’s being recognised
That wouldn't make it garlic tho'. Garlic is garlic because it just is, ever since PVZ 1 even. Replacing it with an ability from a whole different plant would just be a waste.
1.) Garlic was made way before sweet potato. 2.) It wouldn't be garlic if it functioned that way. It would need to be a whole new plant. 3.) Even if it sucks, if it had an ability like sweet potato, it wouldn't have a point. Its main purpose is to divert zombies that so happened to spawn in its lane, in order to have the zombies go in other lanes that have more firepower and is more ready. That or to keep zombies away from the vulnerable parts of your defense. 4.) Sweet Potato and Garlic literally do the opposite things.
This is a great video! I honestly think Sun Shroom is pretty on par with Primal Sunflower. Costing a third of the sun is really nice, and its plant food immediately skipping to the last stage is very good. The main problem with it is that Sun Shroom makes your early game slow, but that's what stallers and wall plants are for. Speaking of walls, Wall-Nut is really good at what it does. It's significantly better in Reflourished, where Primal Wall Nut costs 125 sun, but in vanilla I'd probably say that it's the best one after it's Primal cousin.
Sun shroom is probably slightly worse unless you have enlightenmint. Then its much much mu h better. The strategy is to make 2 rows of them and you get a guaranteed 1100 sun, you can even use spear mint shovel the spike rocks and you’re already at 1600 sun so you can’t lose if you have magnifying grass
For me the best one is the lightning reed, protects 3 lines, isn't range limited, and is able to hurt umbrella, jester and shovel zombies, im not lying when i say that i used it a lot.
@@IWishYouTheBest It's one of the noob trapper type of plant. Comfortable to use but once the rounds get tough it loses massive value over other plants. I like everything about it but the dmg being low harms it's effectiveness in late stages. Very spam heavy plant.
To be fair, Fire Pea is a gemium, and I think the other heating plants, like Snapdragon, are more close-ranged, so you kinda have to use Pepperpult in Frostbite caves.... and then thankfully never again.
The issue is the zombies can take 3 bites from the Garlic before moving when in the old game it was 1. So while they increased its HP they nerfed how many times it can divert a zombie.
While i havent played vanilla (stuck to mods) so i cant judge certain plant's viability i have to argue against iceberg and primal sunflower Primal is absolutely busted but its tied with sun shroom IMO (Both produce 75 sun, sun shroom is guaranteed to grow to second phase before producing more then once, and third phase is pretty quick. The cheap cost is also a upside) As you said, iceberg kinda sucks against crowds, which makes it worse then the other two early game stallers simply because it cant scale. While stallia and (my personal favorite) stunion can be used to good effect later on it just simply lacks that ability. Also stunion's 25 cost is basically nothing in a game with such quick sun production (also where is winter melon and magni? those plants are the best attacking plants in the game)
@@youralarmclockwastaken "amazing" naah I ain't waiting 30 seconds for a SINGLE winter melon that ain't even slow down zombies properly when I can literally spam max ultomatos to clear the entire lawn with 0 effort. (Spamming primal sunflowers on the front for infinite sun and imitated thyme warp with primal wallnut for infinite stalling, boom.)
@@Froxmog Just because winter isnt the best plant anymore does not mean its bad, 30 second recharge is pretty damn short for winter (god knows eclise and alterz's like 40 and 50 second recharges are worse). Also, rhe nerfed chilled duration only means its about 90% uptime from my experience, still very solid especially when more qre placed down also yeah ultomato is good like most super heavy plants
I remember that, in the Chinese version, Pepper pult is an op plant, because of two things: the recharge is much shorter, and you get the upgrades really cheaply, which makes it one shot a level-one basic
Garlic is outright awful But after completing the game, i started to search for challenges Garlic with rotobaga hit me Plant your garlic on the 2nd and 4th row, pick up a few instas and a sun producer for those nasty zombies like explorer and we good to go
I think intinsive carrot is great as a sudo imitator with more defensive plants. There are a ton of "haha I killed your plant in 2 seconds" Zombies in this game. Still niche but it might be able to sneak out of bottom 5 in my head. Edit: phat beet can be spammed. I made it to 22 in endless bascically only using it as an attacker.(still not good)
You know what conclusion I've come up to? Pepper pult is worse than garlic. Because if you use plant Foods on garlic you basically get an entire lane affected by stunion! The Splash damage for pepper pult ain't even that good! So what would I change? Pepper pult to the worst plant and garlic to number 4.
Surprised lightning reed wasn't on the list, its a personal favorite but once you get like 7-15 of them out it becomes impossible for the zombies to move down the lawn.
My list Top 5 worst 5- Phat beat: If snapdragon couldn't even take down a literal basic zombie. 4- Intensive carrot: If there was a really expensive defensive plant then intensive carrot would may be a decent plant. 3- Spring bean: What KoalaPVZ Said 2- Hot potato: this is dog sh*t 1-Garlic: This is even more dog sh*t! At least hot potato is good for like 4 levels(Even then you could use snapdragon, Torchwood, fire pea, and lava guava) But garlic is COMPLETELY USELESS!!!
11:20 Hello? Hot potato? That exists and is somehow not in the worst plants? It’s literally only good for 1 world and even *THEN* gets out classed by other plants
I would say garlic and phat beet is good for very, VERY niche scenario's. Like phat beat can beat pirate seas day 22 with the least sun. Garlic can be used as a very bad last resort for niche plant challenges. I think better placements would be that the 2nd worst plant would be gold leaf. 1st worst worst plant is Hot potato
i think we should also have an honorable mention for shadowshroom, even without the boost from moonflower, it can kill zombies even the tankiest (except for prob gargs) in just a matter of seconds. especially when using its plant flood, it basically like a doom shroom but board wide and with a 5 second tick.
I think your best plants biased towards superior basic plants what most most jurassic plants are. Even dusk-lobber was a glorified cabbage-pult. Shotout to chard guard, celery stalker, puff shroom and lightning reed
Ik Dusk Lobber Is great and all but I personally think that Rotobaga, Banana Launcher, Winter Melon, and Magnifying Grass are better. You could argue Roto Is worse / tied but considering the fact that you could get a whole lot of sun with a couple of primal sunflowers / sunshroom. Winter, Banana, and Magnifying are wayyyy better. There's a reason why I use Sun Bean In Vanilla.
In defense of garlic, it synergies well with aoe and gimmicky plants like electric current. And compared to hot date and stalia, all it needs is to be eaten rather than be close to the zombie (in the other lane) and block some synergies.
Only changes I make to this tier list would be to change primal wall nut with celery stalker. I also truly believe that moonflower and sunshroom truly is equal to primal sunflower, especially sunshroom. It only depends on the level ur playing
The spring bean is INSANELY GOOD. When you use plant food on it, it launches ALL ZOMBIES on the screen into the air (except gargantuars i think but im not 100% sure). If you combine that with a blover, a skilled player can use plant food on spring bean and then put down a blover with perfect timing, essentially giving you a SCREEN CLEAR for only 100 sun. It’s INSANE.
Spring bean deserves more credit, it can literally insta-kill a *gargantua* (in the pirate seas ofc), almost no plants can do that without using the plant food ability not to mention it doesn't need to use a plant food to kill it
Primal walnut is the definition of a wall as it can handle gargs with 3 hits (more depending on level, 1.5 from garg prime smash attacks because it swings twice), PPM (Primal Potato Mine) is an absolute monster with both it’s basic stats and plant food, and handles everything except gargs in one go(leave that to a lvl3 squash), with enough PPM clones and a lot of plant food, you can create a literal minefield to the zombies, not even gargs are safe from the mayhem since the 3x3 blast radius will hit it if triggered by neighboring zombies on the lanes, possible not even throwing its imp(imps for sloth garg)
Hmm, I agree to a lot of the plan on this list, but personally I think a plant that can be put on par with the primal potato mine is the puff shroom, ok I get it it expires overtime but it’s is op because it’s free, the countdown resets after applying plant food and the best of all, all other puff shrooms in the board will get the same effect which is insanely good
How to fix each bad plant in this video, to make the atleast usable Intensive carrot: make them cheap or complitely free, but with a really long recharge Pepper pult: literally just decrease his recharge Spring bean: Make him launch zombies further? Phat beat: add more damage Garlic: add a lot more health
Dude? Have you been out of touch for like 8 years?!? And even if you do know that the spring bean and blover combo doesn't work then why would you say to him to mention the strategy that DOESN'T WORK?!?!
I feel like shadow shroom deserves at least an honorable mention. His poison bypasses zombie armour and his plant food poisons every zombie on the board. Boosted by moonflower, zombies poisoned by shadow shroom poison other zombies that they come in contact with. Sure there are a lot of instakill zombies but shadow shroom is cheap (50 sun) and has a relatively quick recharge (10 seconds).
In the main story this list is probably accurate but once you get to endless mode tile turnip becomes the best plant in the game. If you’re not using tile turnip you’re not playing the game correctly. Giving yourself a free screen wipe from a plant food is insane.
I think that red stinger should have an honorable mention because it’s just a cheaper repeater and laser bean as well for its plant food and for its ability to attack all the zombies on that lane but that’s just my opinion
I didn’t watch the video but I predict that he will rank spring bean pretty low so I will make an argument on why he is one of the best plants in the game. Spring bean is not an attacking plant, he is a stalling plant and stalling plants are some of the best plants in the series. Spring bean is a fantastic counter to gargs since they don’t hit him while flung. When level 6, spring bean can infinitely stall one zombie which is really good for the price. Spring bean is best when uses with other stallers as spring bean will stall for the recharge of other stallers and they will stall for spring bean to wake up. The best use I found with spring bean is in high level zombies in penny’s pursuit, where I use him with inferno or snow pea in last stand levels. Spring bean also has a really nice plant food for penny’s pursuit. And finally spring is the best plant in pirate seas, no argument needed.
I love Pepper-Pult. He’s a cool guy with a cool design and (I might’ve forgot) a funny almanac entry. But, he’s just not good. I especially noticed when I got to Weasel Horder Zombies.
I remember back when I was child I REALLY LOVED phat beet, ever since it's release I kept on using it on every single game I played, sad to learn about it being bad:(
if the mere smell of garlic moved zombies away from it, it would be far more useful (like sweet potato moves zombies toward her without zombies actually having to nibble her first)
Agreed with most of these but i would replace primal wall nut with infinut! The plant food is just too good. Having a couple infinuts with their plant food ability activated is basically impenetrable, and i swear i couldve never beat big wave beach without it
Garlic only has 600hp at level 1(1200 at max), only 2 times what a regular plant has and he's supposed to take bites from zombies! What was Popcap smoking
Magnifying grass should be in the top 5. All you have to do with it is get plenty of suns, so what I do with it is plant 10 sunflower and then get some supporting plants. When the enemies get closeor I get enough sun, I just spam it and its damage is very high that it gargantuars would die in 2seconds with. It's my favorite plant aside from lightning reed.
I agree with you with primal potato mine, I thought it was trash until I bought it using seed packets and then I got 2m points in arena with only using primal potato mine and grave buster to get the plant food
intensive carrot can be incredibly useful in battlez but mainly just if there's a gimmick like a boss fight. It's not part of the adventure mode so not sure if it should count.
Celery stalker should be among the worst, it's in the same predicament as the other plants in NMT and because of its low range can't even kill a brown coat, not to mention its low health makes it get overwhelmed way too easily.
Celery stalker solos a conehead without any help from stalling plants. However I do agree that it’s “hit from behind” gimmick can make it difficult to use
@whatswrongwithme I would agree, if it was given in any other world, but because it comes in neon mixtape tour it instantly falls into the same category as some of the other plants that come in the same world. I'm also basing my ranking on his specifications and the world impacts it a lot. 3 of the zombies negates its hiding ability (mc and rollerskate and arcade), the music can make zombies faster making it unable to kill a brown coat by itself at level 1 (I tested this), and its defence is so low and it takes so long to hide again that it gets overwhelmed too easily, not to mention it has a really low range.
It most often just dies too fast to get massive value from in my experience. They only take out 1 zombie ever so often. So why not just use a plant that hits in an aoe instead of just taking out 1 zombie at a time?

But in PvZ, the diversion is instant while in PvZ2, there is a 1 second delay so the zombie eating it will bite it 3 times (unless you place Garlic on a minecart or use Hurrikale, it will still divert with one bite.), dealing 150 damage.
And quick math:
600/150 = 4 zombies diverted
400/50 = 8 zombies diverted
Garlic usually needs stalling plants on top of itself or for you to use Aloe.
It's still one of my favorite plants bc of Electric Current being a fun gimmick I enjoy.
The levels are short but the zombie density is much higher.

Pepper pult could have been amazing - just give it a 5 second cooldown and 175 cost and were golden
I have to sleep but a koalaom video is more important
I literally needed this upload today. I was wanting to watch some PVZ2 content and it happens to be that I love the PVZ content from this channel lol
Well, I guess this is mines, Best: 1. Primal potato mine, 2. Magnifying Grass, 3. Winter Melon. 4.Sun shroom. 5. stallia.
Finally some Maginifying Glass appreciation, that plant is underrated af.
@@ephraimium6755 Yeah, it is just broken beyond belief. But hardly any one knows that.
Valid list
Mid list (my opinion)
@@leanhvu4193 Fair enough.
My strategy for freebies, at least to survive until level 50 is :
- Winter melon in first column
- Twin sunflower/sun shroom/primal sun in second column
- Phat beet in third and fourth column
And make sure skip level if there is all-star zombie above level 10
Also, again, I choose to level my plants as levels become naturally available (not really grinding anything) so my pepper pult is slightly stronger than the average one.
just curious, but why do u like leveling, its horribly balanced and leads to a lot of bull shit
I feel like the only drawback to primal potato mine is the fact its the last plant in jurrasic marsh yet in the next world, big wave beach, which is also the second last world, it's completely ruined by the fact its practically useless besides low tide where most dangerous zombies like fisherman and octopus zombie are usually only dangerous in the back
12:56 I would’ve probably said either thyme warp or cherry bomb but still a very good choice
l will come and say this right now but spring bean used to be one of my main plants back when you could use its plant food and use the blover and just like that clear the entire map.l am still so upset that they took its one and only aspect that didn't make it useless outside of the pirate seas😢

5 WORST:
5.Intensive Carrot (Neon Mixtape Tour) - 100 sun
4.Pepper-Pult (Frostbite Caves) - 200 sun
3.Spring Bean (Pirate Seas) - 50 sun
2.Phat Beet (Neon Mixtape Tour) - 150 sun
1.Garlic (Neon Mixtape Tour) - 50 sun
5 BEST:
5.Dusk Lobber (Modern Day) - 150 sun
4.Primal Wall-Nut (Jurassic Marsh) - 75 sun
3.Stallia (Lost City) - 0 sun
2.Primal Sunflower (Jurassic Marsh) - 75 sun
1.Primal Potato Mine (Jurassic Marsh) - 50 sun
Poor springy bean was s tier at on point aswell
For the best 5 plants, id like to make an Argument for Chard guard. A really useful stal plant with a decent recharge time and also only 75 sun cost.
Also you unlock him pretty early in the game compared to plants like dusklobber or primal wallnut, wich is another plus in my book
Ye chard guard is also great for crowd control
primal potato mine is a plant I never hear people talk about that much and im so glad it got number one. literally every primal plant is OP in the game and im glad that’s being recognised
Yep primial potato mine is good at mid game and start game
These videos are the reason I still love plants vs zombies keep it up please💯🤩
I think phat beet should be AT LEAST top 15 worst aadventure plants just because it's name is perfection
Your profile picture is perfection.
I only want to say that garlic is a missed opportunity, It could have had the same ability as sweet potato and It'd be way more useful,
That wouldn't make it garlic tho'.
Spring bean was insane before they removed the synergy with blover
Tragic spring bean blover nerf 😭
not justified smh let's give him a buff again
well, i reckon spring bean wouldnt be on this list if the clover sweep was still viable
what about this green flower from neon mix tape tour. Thyme warp. He teleports all zombies to start. I love him

Oh my god. The phat beat is PvZ 2’s BISON EQUIVALENT!!!
garlic also sucks in pvz 2 because after 5 zombies take a bite out of him he is ALREADY gone
4 I believe actually which is hilarious.
To be fair, Fire Pea is a gemium, and I think the other heating plants, like Snapdragon, are more close-ranged, so you kinda have to use Pepperpult in Frostbite caves.... and then thankfully never again.
Garlic was amazing in the first game but garlic has barely any use but he is not the worst but that's just me
The issue is the zombies can take 3 bites from the Garlic before moving when in the old game it was 1.
So while they increased its HP they nerfed how many times it can divert a zombie.

Yeah, blover kind of makes sense with knock back plants. But chili bean definitely isn't a bottom 5, when plants like lightning reed exist.
Hop off Chilli bean
While i havent played vanilla (stuck to mods) so i cant judge certain plant's viability i have to argue against iceberg and primal sunflower
Primal is absolutely busted but its tied with sun shroom IMO (Both produce 75 sun, sun shroom is guaranteed to grow to second phase before producing more then once, and third phase is pretty quick. The cheap cost is also a upside)
As you said, iceberg kinda sucks against crowds, which makes it worse then the other two early game stallers simply because it cant scale. While stallia and (my personal favorite) stunion can be used to good effect later on it just simply lacks that ability. Also stunion's 25 cost is basically nothing in a game with such quick sun production
(also where is winter melon and magni? those plants are the best attacking plants in the game)
I agree with everything you said, ngl

worst: 1-intensive carrot 2-garlic 3-hot potato 4-peper pult 5-cabbage pult

I think intinsive carrot is great as a sudo imitator with more defensive plants. There are a ton of "haha I killed your plant in 2 seconds" Zombies in this game. Still niche but it might be able to sneak out of bottom 5 in my head. Edit: phat beet can be spammed. I made it to 22 in endless bascically only using it as an attacker.(still not good)
WAIT WHERE IS PURFUME SHROOM? THAT LITTLE UNFUN PIECE OF TRASH BEAT INTINSIVE CARROT?!? Sorry for yelling...
Celery stalker, my beloved.
I understand dusk lober and primal walnut, but I would have to change at least one of them for winter melon
Honorable mention for #1 Best: *Primal Peashooter*
No explanation needed.
Surprised lightning reed wasn't on the list, its a personal favorite but once you get like 7-15 of them out it becomes impossible for the zombies to move down the lawn.

Top 5 worst
5- Phat beat: If snapdragon couldn't even take down a literal basic zombie.
4- Intensive carrot: If there was a really expensive defensive plant then intensive carrot would may be a decent plant.
3- Spring bean: What KoalaPVZ Said
2- Hot potato: this is dog sh*t
1-Garlic: This is even more dog sh*t! At least hot potato is good for like 4 levels(Even then you could use snapdragon, Torchwood, fire pea, and lava guava) But garlic is COMPLETELY USELESS!!!
Ye hot potato aint even that helpful in frostbite caves
11:20 Hello? Hot potato? That exists and is somehow not in the worst plants? It’s literally only good for 1 world and even *THEN* gets out classed by other plants
I would say garlic and phat beet is good for very, VERY niche scenario's. Like phat beat can beat pirate seas day 22 with the least sun. Garlic can be used as a very bad last resort for niche plant challenges. I think better placements would be that the 2nd worst plant would be gold leaf. 1st worst worst plant is Hot potato
@@KhajaSodhu There’s another niche thing that phat beat helps with, it’s just that boom-box zombies can’t stun them because they have headphones on
@@commentbutton I forgot about that.
i think we should also have an honorable mention for shadowshroom, even without the boost from moonflower, it can kill zombies even the tankiest (except for prob gargs) in just a matter of seconds. especially when using its plant flood, it basically like a doom shroom but board wide and with a 5 second tick.
Garlic is underrated! He secretly has an ability that let's him be INVINCIBLE! I'll tell you how...
BROKEN LEVEL UP SYSTEM!
Were the "who's watching this in 2024" comments not enough for you to realize that They patched that in 2018?
that exploit has been patched unfortunately
Doesn't Blover effect zombies knocked into the air by Spring Bean? I could've sworn you can clear the board with his plant food+ a Blover.
They nerfed that combo and it doesnt work anymore, you can just do a p2w version of it with re-enforcemint
Am I the only one who prefers Sun Shroom over Primal Sunflower?
Nope you’re not the only one :)
No, but thankfully I'm not one of these people
Spring bean deserves more credit, it can literally insta-kill a *gargantua* (in the pirate seas ofc), almost no plants can do that without using the plant food ability not to mention it doesn't need to use a plant food to kill it
Primal walnut is the definition of a wall as it can handle gargs with 3 hits (more depending on level, 1.5 from garg prime smash attacks because it swings twice), PPM (Primal Potato Mine) is an absolute monster with both it’s basic stats and plant food, and handles everything except gargs in one go(leave that to a lvl3 squash), with enough PPM clones and a lot of plant food, you can create a literal minefield to the zombies, not even gargs are safe from the mayhem since the 3x3 blast radius will hit it if triggered by neighboring zombies on the lanes, possible not even throwing its imp(imps for sloth garg)
1:00 the football zombie
Its allstar zombie
I'm suprised Thyme Warp wasn't mentioned in the stall plants category. It's by far the best stall plant you can get in adventure mode.
Hmm, I agree to a lot of the plan on this list, but personally I think a plant that can be put on par with the primal potato mine is the puff shroom, ok I get it it expires overtime but it’s is op because it’s free, the countdown resets after applying plant food and the best of all, all other puff shrooms in the board will get the same effect which is insanely good
How to fix each bad plant in this video, to make the atleast usable
Intensive carrot: make them cheap or complitely free, but with a really long recharge
Pepper pult: literally just decrease his recharge
Spring bean: Make him launch zombies further?
Phat beat: add more damage
Garlic: add a lot more health
Should have mentioned spring bean blover synergy
Dude? Have you been out of touch for like 8 years?!? And even if you do know that the spring bean and blover combo doesn't work then why would you say to him to mention the strategy that DOESN'T WORK?!?!
The worst thing about garlic in PvZ2 is that the zombies don't make a funny face when they eat it anymore
I think wintermelon should be on the list
same
In the main story this list is probably accurate but once you get to endless mode tile turnip becomes the best plant in the game.
He is originally a good plant, but the slow recharge is a bug.
I remember back when I was child I REALLY LOVED phat beet, ever since it's release I kept on using it on every single game I played, sad to learn about it being bad:(
Idk about you but garlic save me in pv1 😭😭
the most replayed part being when the sponsor ends is just straight up funny
Ok we started off bad with carrot, it should be like 4-3 worst, it’s not bad enough
if the mere smell of garlic moved zombies away from it, it would be far more useful (like sweet potato moves zombies toward her without zombies actually having to nibble her first)
Agreed with most of these but i would replace primal wall nut with infinut!
You know a good way to give intensive carrot a better use? Make it replace instas you’ve used
Thyme warp is pretty good. It just has waaaaaaaay to long of a cooldown
intensive carrot can be incredibly useful in battlez but mainly just if there's a gimmick like a boss fight. It's not part of the adventure mode so not sure if it should count.
Idk why popcap decided to give pepper pult a long-ass recharge for a worse melon pult, othe rthan the cooldown, this plants is prttey solid all around
Ngl, celery is like an A tier, or even S tier plant for me.
13:03 I don't really agree probably 2nd lr is probably a tight bit better
If you wonder how strong PPM is, you can win levels that limit you to spend 2000 suns solely on primal potato mines.
