I did everything of your tutorial - word for word, image by image. It doesn't work. Every time I try and test it, I always get an error on the 15th line. When I simulate the download on the "Test Movie" command, my preloaded doesn't function. Any suggestions?
Thanx for the help on how to do a progress bar. Yours was the first tutorial I found successful ^v^ I am however having trouble with the design I want to use as my progress bar. I'd like the progress bar to be a picture on top of a base and background. I want it to start from the bottom of the picture and ends at the top of the picture with the progress numbers in the centre of it. Is there any chance you could help me on this matter? This action script doesn't work on my current project. Help?
Hi there. Awsome tutorial you have! Anyway, i have some issues with this preloader so hope you can help. I do everything what you show in this video in my flash cs6, but something not working right! First, when i test it doesen't show me at all percentage from 0 - 100. And second, after 6 seconds approx, preloader finished and starting main animation, but when my main animation finished loop it shows again preloader and then again starting loop of animation and like that on and on! What to do?
And yes, i done the code stop() on the and of keyframe of animation as you told, but no matter it still keeps showing. To be cleared i am working in cs6, as3 is on, the newest flash player, all instance names are exactly as they should be as i done it exactly like you, all names, everything like on your video just to see if i am working something wrong, but no, that's prove i am not doing anything wrong. So hope you can advice some! Thanks!
Does this tutorial still apply to the latest installment of Adobe Animate? I've followed all steps pretty much to the letter. Yet when I go to test my animation, all I get is a blank flash file...
Hey there Creating A preloader for a videogame here but, everytime i try to simulate the downloading sequence it stays white untill the downloading has reached to 1445 B also it reaches to 1445 B to frame, but after 1445 B have been reached, it starts at 40% other than starting at 0%. Is it because of the comp im using or router that im on?btw Im on a school comp and a self router just for my classroom?

Great video, however when testing mine I get a white screen and then after a while the bar appears already loaded to 10%, is there any fix?

I tried this but Chrome for Mac has no progress and only shows "infinity%" in the dynamic text field
