The comparison between Overpower and elemental charms can be done with a simple formula, because one deals 5% of your hp, the other 5% of monster's hp: If your health > (monster's health * it's elemental weekness) -> overpower is superior. Otherwise, pick elemental charm. Note that if you're thinking what to unlock, overpower might be more universal, depending on what you hunt.
Should point out that this only is true for creatures that have less hp than you do (not considering elemental weaknesses). Elemental charms on challenging monsters with 20k+ hp will do base dmg of over 1k plus elemental weakness.
Juggernaut has 18k hp. On my 1200 RP i will deal 653 damage with overpower to juggernaut. With elemental charm, i will deal 18 000 x 0.05 = 900. Elemental charm is superior to overpower in this case.
@GoreTheSummoner it's true, Gore, but you know that there is a gap in which advancing damage is stll possible. Like in scenarios where monster's HP is huge and your character's max hp is too low to reach maximum damage. For example, if monster has 8000 max hp and above, and you are under 12000 hp, you won't deal it's 8% when your Overpower triggers. So there is a space for further increase, and the charm scales with your level.
Dawnfire Asura has 2900 HP. So overpower charm can deal 8% of its maxiumum hp. 2900 x 0.08 = 232 damage. Normal elemental charm will deal 2900 x 0,05 = 145. So yes. overpower will be better than elemental charm.
from the new ones overflux is better for mages but elemental ones will still be better :) unless you are level 200 and hunt asura palace. in a perspective me as 662 druid will do 1kdmg with elemental charm on my hunt (925 without weakness) and having 20+k mana i will do 500 with overflux. another example. 1600 druid that hunts rotten blood that has 50k mana will do 1250 with new charm on his spot but 1700+ with elemental (1450 without the weakness) i dont see a reason to take this charm at all
Yes, but if the same druid goes hunting like New Winter Update Place or Roothlings, he will always do 8% of the enemy HP and not 5%, so it all depends on what spot you are hunting. If mobs have a lot of HP, it's always better to take elements, but if they are glass cannons, it's better to take overflux.
@@Ivanbraga1988 but it's still better for the ek/ms/ed imagine ms vs rp, if they both use freeze on a dt they will hit for the same dmg, except the rp will hit twice if they both use overflux the ms will hit for double dmg that the rp does, but the rp will proc twice it's great to see some charm wins for the other 3 vocs
There's no doubt. Overpower is like having the power of two elemental charms in just one. Overflux is also great for paladins who like to solo hunting. It's stronger than most elemental charms

overpower is only better at high lvl in most cases

is it worth using it on the falcon bastion? I'm looking forward to the episodes about the feru way and falcon eagle
While wearing spirithorn items i dont see the charm trigger in server log imo it triggers not so often or not trigger at all
Nice!!! To hunt at the entrace to ferumbras...what are the best runes today??? and do you think it's worth putting level 3 on them???
And we can even strenghten the effect of overpower by increasing the max hp in the Wheel and Gem Atelier
you cant, because its capped at 8% monsters hp

Probably good for low hp mobs like asuras.

Now we need to know if it's better than the " twin blows"
That Charm is under 1000lvl shit...
So overflux would be the best one for mages?
Yep
yessir

Overpower for eks dmg
Overflux for mages
Rp 🤡
RP uses both and can activate twice! LOL.
