Hi Dee this is your Jamaican mommy in New York. It's unbelievable the connection continues I was traveling along with you on this train ride and I got chills when you stop at the station that said Bog Walk. I was born in Bog Walk St Catherine Jamaica.
I haven't been there since I was a small child my family moved to the North Coast when I was very young and then on to the United States where I grew up and made my life 0:05 I visited a few times over the years it was so wonderful that you bought us there thanks for the experience my dear😂😂 always excited to see your content❤❤❤ now you see why we Jamaicans abroad loves you. you're bringing us home even at such far distances love you girl😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
THANKS SOO MUCH LOTS OF LOVE...LOVE YOU ALL

A bit of history. Jamaica was the first country outside of Europe and North America to have a railway system. It started in 1844 by the Smith Brothers (David and William) so it's been around for a very long time. In the 1970 I used to take the train. Back then there were trains running from Kingston to Montego Bay and St. Elizabeth. It was cool then to ride on the trains.
Dee my favourite yutuber greetings.Girl, I just love your down to earth vibes no pretending.Keep moving, the sky is the limit.
You bring joy and tears to my eyes Diana, I missed the days of traveling on those trains 🚂 when I was a young child, traveling with my mom from Kingston to st. Elizabeth to see our family which was donkey years ago I’m a grandmother now but I still remember those days. The only thing I can say now is.. thank you granny and grandpa , mamma and papa and keep SIEP.😢😢😢😢😢
Im Glad to bring memories back to you !! One love...
Dee, you should be more specific. The only passenger train yes. But not the only train in Jamaica. Trains are used to move bauxite from the mines in Jamaica. Mostly in the red dirt parishes.Bauxite is turned into Aluminum .
Hi dee n it's good to see you back in Jamaica after all the traveling. And all the best to you girl. May god bless you always. ❤🙏🌻
Ameen and thanks soo much I really appreciate the love and support always
Dee your Jamaican video are so different from the rest. Something about your Video in Jamaica have me glued to the tv!!!
Hahaha thanks soo much I really appreciate
Dee, there’s a place in Westmoreland known as Seaford Town (German Town), you will find white German Jamaicans there. Their history is interesting, you should check them out.
I WILL GO CHECK IT OUT AND THANKS FOR THE RECCOMMENDATION
That's true. That's where my grandpa came from and he used to tell us stories, but he wasn't German, he and his brother were like tanned white but not white. 😅
Welcome back Dee. Spanish Town The Old Capital. Establish as Spanish village on the Tiano settlement. The street are narrow houses in the square built in time of horses and Bogie.Persons step off the road onto the verandah made with slate and marble imported from Italy. The only railway in the caribbean. The fastest growing parish with housing scheme. Traditional sugar cane land become schemes. The town with the iron bridge, only one of its kind in this hemisphere. The St James Cathedral host the largest pipe organ in the carribbean. The largest Georgian Arthitecturaual site in the carribbean. Rio Cobre river one of the longest river with folk tales. Supply water to some areas of kingston.
Old Spanish town was Jews from Spain and Portugal The presence of Jews in Jamaica can be traced back to the island's early days as a Spanish colony. A number of Portuguese crypto-Jews fleeing the Inquisition began arriving on the island around 1530 and settled in Spanish Town, a city in Jamaica.
Where is the housing scheme? I did not see any. Have I missed them?
@@doreenramsey1016on the inside of the towns. Squatters live along the train line. Those would have been our “homeless” but in Jamaica people just claim unused lands. That train is just a government experiment. Im sure if the trains ever come back for good, those huts are going to be bulldozed.
😊@@mariabrown2013
@@doreenramsey1016 The housing schemes are not along the train route so you would not see them in this video.
My Mom used to take us to Gregory Park during the holidays and the train was our mode of transportation.Thahk you Dee for bringing back those memories.💯❤️❤️❤️🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Thanks soo much for the love and support I'm glad to bring you back the memories
Happy Birthday Dee, hope you enjoyed your day. Glad your back in the lovely country of Jamaica 😎🇯🇲

Wow i didn't know they have train in Jamaica how amazing n also thks dee for showing me the train ride. You're so great n a good explorer that's what i like about you my girl. Keep enjoying yrself n take care always. ❤🎉
The jamaican railway system was one of the frist in the western hemisphere it's over 100 years old but the government did a poor job on maintaining the historic railway system in beautiful jamaica
@@alphansoworth9775Heard they are doing an experiment along this route. If it works they will upgrade the trains and tracks and the scenery, of course. Service would also be extended, I supposed along the previous tracks if people haven’t already captured the land the tracks are on. 😮
@mariabrown2013 great news we must never again in our history let the infrastructure of our great little nation rundown to this level this is so embarrassing
I had the previlege of riding on it years ago was such an exciting and enjoyable ride
Still it's very fun. Thanks for watching one love

Wow, just amazing.
Thanku Miss Dee Mwango! 🙏🏾😇💯👍🏾
Dee, when Jamaica had its railway system, the last time I can remembered that I travelled on one, Kingston to st. Elizabeth, I was about 7 years old but still remembered the joy of riding those trains and through the dark tunnels. My grown kids and grandkids don’t know what they’re missing 😀but my hope is that the Jamaican government brings back the Jamaican railway system 🙏 enjoy your ride for the first time on Jamaica railway system like it was donkey years ago.
My grandad used to take the train and bring us fruits and vegetables and we’d meet him in May Pen on Fridays! The younger me then had such fond memories.😊
To where in St Elizabeth>
Thank you for that experience 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🌎

Great Video, the train used to run from Kingston to Montego Bay & Port Antonio- time to start the full service again- it would be great for the Jamaican economy.

Hey Dee!
Some additional information for you.
Do you know that if you continue by road from Bog Walk, you will end up in Ocho Rios, via the famous Fern Gully. Just before you enter Fern Gully, you will pass through a village known as
Collegiate, which is where I was born.
The drive from Bog Walk onto Ochi is beautiful as you pass through from the Parish of
St. Catherine into St. Ann's lush vegetation.
You’ll love the experience! 🌿🌴🌱☘️
Welcome back to Jamaica Dee ❤
Would live to see this, Dee.
Wow I will give it a trial

Thanks, Dee, to the view of the train❤

Looks like March Pen Rd and or Grants Pen Rd, not sure, being years. But awesome to see the memories
Dee, you have no idea what a thrill this is for many, many of us Jamaicans, home and abroad, who use to have to ride the train in the good 'ol days❗️ Some of us boarded in Kingston and took the train home for long weekends and holidays. I don't know that any Vlogger have previously videod this ride so this could be a coup for you! So happy to see that today the train is taking kids between school and home!
Thank you for another great Vlog/Video❗️ Awesome! Awesome! Awesome❗️❤️

The lady that said Dee isn’t Jamaican isn’t Jamaican herself because she was sent from Africa to Jamaica herself, she’s just jealous that Dee came at will and not against her will.

IN ORDER TO WIN A DEFAMATORY ACTION IN A COURT OF LAW AGAINST ANY TH-camR THEN, YOU MUST ADD TH-cam AS A CO-DEFENDANT AND PROVE THAT TH-cam HAS NO RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ITS GLOBAL NETWORK - IT'S NOT THAT EASY.
THESE LAWYERS WILL TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED INCOME FROM TH-cam AND LEAVE YOU STRANDED FINANCIALLY - PLAY SMART AND GOOD LUCK - THANK YOU.
It's Kenyan laws bro.Am Carol if found guilty she may serve 10years in prison or 50 thousand dollars. So don't compare American laws with Kenyan ones.I see Am Carol going to jail soon.
Lawyers have NEVER said NO to anyone even when they are damn sure that they will lose the case....
Good luck to her,
