Isaac : Come on then. 'Cause this is all I got left! Isaac : And you! You sell my stuff, spend all my money, and then say, 'Oops!' Koseki Bijou : Oops!
They could have done a better job with the boss fight in the remake. Watching a giant monster struggle to hit and kill a guy casually walking on a tiny platform is just funny.
@@nugget170 Never played it before but from what I can tell from the vods/clips I've seen, even basic necro mobs are much more deadlier and complex than the supposed big bad boss. The boss seems like, well, just a lump of meat with its distinctive properties being huge pretty much.
In the original is even easier because the phase where it use tentacle to stomp Isaac isn't as long as in remake and I think that make the fight worse imo due to it grind the pace to a halted
@@kratosgow342 As I remember it in OG, yes, boss fight was faster as there was no extra tentacle slams sequence before weakpoint reveal and it also was harder because arena was smaller compared to danger zones of tentacle slaps AND Isaac was unable to run which made it WAAAAY harder to dodge (Ability to run was added in 2 and retroactively added in remake - btw this is also the reason why DS2 introduced Fast Chicken and Slowing Spit Necromorphs as a response to that feature). Plus in the second phase boss grabbed you not once but twice on normal and 3 times on Hard/Zealot (also both small necros and boss itself became way more sturdier AND sequences going faster (reminder - you are still only able to be a POWER WALKING menace in DS1 - there is no run) - so Boss actually was able to hit you and even pull off its OHKO on you if you're not fast enough to pass DPS check (hence I personally just used BFG aka "C99 Supercollider Contact Beam" to get out as while its ammo on Zealot was sparse it still frickin' demolished anything it hits).
I don't, but im making it if you guys want it. All Those weekly storms here is making my internet all slow that's why i cant upload that much recently.
A smol pebble vs a being made of flesh and bone who's size is only comparable to the "god" bug of starship trooper 3 this fight will be epic!
Nah, if you look at the actual size of the Hive Mind, it's closer to Godzilla.
@@mongooseunleashed The Hive Mind's masters on the other hand? A much better comparison to the godbug methinks.

She did great against the Hive Mind thou!
8:33 Just pretend biboo isnt there and imagine thats how Isaac sounds as hes being thrown back to the ground. I dunno i thought that was funny.
dank space

And the boss just killed the side characters almost immediately
tbh it’s not a “remake issue” but more or less the boss itself being too simple as a final boss
