I really like this setup. IMO these are the best regulators you can get. I’ve used them on backmount. Thanks for making a ready to dive sidemount Kit out of them. There are way too little complete sidemount sets out there. I will get one from your shop soon when I can afford it

Thank you. I agree with everything you're saying there. Pricey but the best there is!

Hey man nice video!! I cant afford this setup so i will go for the Apeks DST or Diverite which are half the price. Quick question here. If you put your inflator hose in the middle of the turret isn't gonna be better ? I mean you will save the twisting of the hose in the long run. Having it on the sides forces it bend. My side mount instructor has them like you did but i believe is much better in the middle. Have you tried that ? i am asking to get some opinions so i would know what to do when i assemble mine. I only assembled regulators once so i want to avoid screwing and uncsrewing hoses.

It depends a bit on the length of the LPI. Mine is quite long (that's what Apeks delivers) so by routing it down and up, it stays streamlined. With a shorter LPI it can certainly come out from the side as you suggest!

Is the G260 really heavy and large as some people write? Is it the size of maybe the s620Ti?

Yes it's a larger and heavier reg and I know some people don't like it for that reason but it's very performant, which I love.

@@DiveSAGA Thank you for answering my question. Please tell me which one you would recommend besides this one.

@@manius_dive it depends for what. The A700 or the S600 are great too. A700 carbon is lighter but more expensive
