I haven’t watched this yet as I was waiting to better English subtitles but does lingling have super hearing? And does he have it throughout the show ?

The show is officially released now, with proper subs, it's on Viki and Viu and also some unofficial sites, wherever you find the 38 ep release, it'll be the proper subs. About Jiushi's hearing, it's not super, it's just a little better than average and just as in the novel, it comes in handy sometimes in the series.
