- One of Korean Air's new Dreamliners seen departing for Seoul! I've wanted to see a Korean Air plane for YEARS, even before I started my TH-cam channel. Filming this gorgeous 787 was one of the happiest spotting moments I've ever had. KAL recently switched their equipment from a 777-300ER to the 787-9 on flights to Toronto, which doesn't matter to me because I absolutely love this livery! I hope you enjoy!

Economy class seating is probably the best in this carrier, at least in my experience with several other models.

Look the plane is heavier, running almost the full length of runway for take-off...
You are correct, because the plane was flying to South Korea which is far away from Toronto, so the plane needs more fuel

Wow! That skyline shot was impressive! Looks a bit like SFO airport.
Yeah, the only thing missing is water. Pearson's runway layout is pretty similar to SFO as well, although the parallel sets are further apart :)

On this route Air Canada that day has used the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to but they had upgraded in to the Boeing 777-300ER due to the olympic games in Pyeongchang. I would like to know what is Korean Air using now on this route?
Korean Air is still using the Boeing 787-9 on the Toronto-Seoul route, sorry for my late reply
But Air Canada has upgraded to the Boeing 777-300ER. Just go to google and entre flight AC 61.

I use a radio scanner to hear the ATC. I just hang my radio beside my camera while spotting! Thanks a lot man! :)

Maybe they'll switch to letters? Boeing 7A7, 7B7, 7C7...there's quite a few of those in the alphabet, omitting I and O because they would look like 717 and 707 is my guess

Its sad to see Singapore Airlines no longer flies to Toronto because of a complaint made by Air Canada.
I had no idea that Singapore Airlines ever flew to Canada.
Canadian Plane Spotter Yea it stop flying to Toronto on 2006,is it because of Air Canada on the verge of bankruptcy? I don't really know.
Air Canada was on the verge of bankruptcy in 2003, although Singapore Airlines is partners with Air Canada though Star Alliance, so there would be no competition
