I spent the most amazing six days of my 13 years of life in atlantis. It is so beautiful, and while you may think it is commerical, it is not really. there is so much raw beauty with the marine life and flowers and palm trees. The activities are fun and endless. There are no hilights because every moment was amazing. Me and my cousins promised ourselves we would go back and I know we will because we loved it so much! Today is the year anniversary of my first dady there and i miss it so much :)

Ahhh,, I went there in February and I absolutely LOVED it!!! We went to Marina Village EVERY NIGHT!!!!
been there, it was amazing. you can stay at some cheaper hotels nearby and still get an Atlantis pass to get into the resort. absolutely beautiful. The two big slides are awesome, you go through a shark tank. fantastic vacation!

Welcome - you do have to book for a week but the rates that way are about half what Atlantis charges for the condo and in many cases the same as you would pay for the tiny rooms at Beach and Coral Towers.
Atlantis is amazing in any case - but its great to have all the comforts of home - and the convenience and savings of the kitchen.

hey, im 14 so i don't know a lot but there as a resort called the comfort suites there. it is entirly smoke free. it is a 2 minute walk to the atlantis resort and you get all the benefits if the atlantis it's self just a lot cheaper. hope this helps!
Trying to get my parents to take me to Atlantis. Looks like so much fun but extremely expensive.

going in 2 days and i am about to crap myself in anticipation
well, my family rarely goes anywhere. My parents have to work all the time, 6-7 a week, 10-12 hours day and I'm in college and now they're preparing for my sister's fund for her college. PHeww. They do try to get us go somewhere from time to time. At least they're trying.

We rent our full condos with access to all activities for an avergae of $3,000 for a full week. best value at the resort.

Which one's bigger guys, The Atlantis Hotel in the Bahamas or the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai? I'm definitely paying a visit to the Atlantis Hotel next year. This is definitely on my list when I visit the Caribbean in 2010!

@AtlantisFamilyFunCom I might have exaggerated a little but to compare water...You can get a bottle of water for one dollar in town but in atlantis it's 5-6 bucks...The vendors were very annoying and you can't escape it. The jet ski guys probably topped the cake on disturbing us though. It was an enjoyable trip and just got back home from there on Tuesday but if we go back to the island, it will more than likely be Sandals.
Still waiting for confirmation at Harborside.
@nopiluvin Well, I'm not sure what you were drinking but the drinks at the beach bar and all over the resort are 8.95 for frozen drinks and some of the best I've ever had. Maybe if you order a top of the line at one of the Gourmet restaurants it might be $16 - but if that shocks you then I'm not sure why you are going to a gourmet restaurant.
There are only vendors on the beach because all beaches in the Bahamas are public - always found them laid back and not pushy or pestering at all.
theres just os much stuff do do there its amazing you cant do it all in a week
i went there and its soo awsome but not into the hotel with the cruise i went one of the islands was nassau,bahamas and my parents chose to go there it was asome to badd it was only for like 8 or 9 hours :(
Welcome - try us next time for a week in the condos - great for families. probably no more than you paid for a standard hotel room at the Coral - maybe even less.

Try renting one of our condos next time - double the size of the hotel rooms with kitchen, laundry, LR, BR etc. As little as $300 a night. familyfunatatlantis
