This is a wonderful eye opening video. My love of watches brought me here. Learning about Wings Of Hope was great and I will spread the word about this great organization.
Amazing to see Oris putting there effort into helping Wings of Hope while in turn help those communities! I have been to Ecuador a couple times and have had the pleasure of visiting the city of Shell and staying there for a bit, Such a beautiful people group who endure through a lot. Love Ecuador!
That's the amazing thing about Oris. That's also why you should go out and support this responsible brand. They just so happen to make some of the best looking wrist watches in the industry...always a plus.
What a great mission. Very cool to see a brand like Oris behind this project and contributing in a creative and educational manner. Really a win for the watch enthusiast that gets behind this piece, too. Thanks to Hodinkee for spreading the word…another great production!
I know this video is focused on Oris, the specific model and Wings of Hope, which is a great story, but I am guessing this was a life altering experience for all involved. Thank you for this and showing the indigenous people of Ecuador, how they live and the hardships they face daily. Ecuador is the most beautiful country in the world and filled with some of the most humble, hardworking and friendliest people and you were able to show a small part of that.
Great video that reminds us what a good company Oris is. Imagine if the Rolexes of the world were as dedicated to giving back, instead of spending millions on celebrity endorsements, etc.
I was a bit turned off when it was just one watch and it felt like they paid for the exposure.. but then I thought about it and the good work that Oris is doing totally needs to get profiled like this - they deserve this. And yes - Cole is amazing! 10/10 host and story teller.
I look and i can not understand. How does that a corparation? I can not see the watch on other workers or volunteers . Oris is little company? I dont think. The Watch can be given them at least Just for this documentary.
Anyone else stress out thinking of the leather strap in all that humidity and rain? I think you’d be burning through bands in a matter of months in that environment
Cole, you have a tremendous sense of storytelling. Your series is my favorite on this channel. Keep these wonderful stories coming!

Rolex does this too
Richard what is the name of the Rolex program and/or watch?
I sincerely love Cole’s authenticity and great storytelling. Glad to see Oris doing something like this!
This is pure journalism! Thank you for the content, it's amazing.

Kudos to Oris for what they are doing to support these communities, I hope all the major watch brands learn from it and support those in need.
Please do more of these, let’s connect our hobby to things that truly matter
I'm Colombian and Ecuadorian. Seeing Hodinkee film this is super dope.

Next time can I go too?
what happened to this series? Stopped after 4 episodes? This is the best segment after Talking Watches
I was a bit turned off when it was just one watch and it felt like they paid for the exposure.. but then I thought about it and the good work that Oris is doing totally needs to get profiled like this - they deserve this. And yes - Cole is amazing! 10/10 host and story teller.

Very disappointing you decided to return to the series with a Oris sales video. Really enjoyed your previous format.
You guys have stolen my channel‘s name!!! ;-)
I called Hodinkee today to buy a $7K watch and they hung up on me because I would not leave a message and wait for a "remote" person to call me back.
Socialism from Capitalism, spend money on good things - not movie placement or already 👌 super rich sports identity
Anyone else stress out thinking of the leather strap in all that humidity and rain? I think you’d be burning through bands in a matter of months in that environment
Helping is more important than the watch leather strap
@@juanangeles8211 I bet you’re a ton of fun a parties!
Ad campaigns are getting more whimsical
5 bar 😂
Why not raising funds to buy an helicopter? Would carry way more weight and the landing spots could be way more!
Unfortunately too big
