These 2 legends of the game are so humble happy go lucky type of guys yet when they are playing they have that Game Face that makes them unique and dangerous. Like Pacquiao in Boxing
I like how Danny is saying Efren is taking the wrong shots, when Efren is known as one of the greatest pool players to ever live, if not the greatest. Give me a break, Danny is getting senile. It's like telling Michael Jordan how to play basketball, or that he is doing it wrong.
Danny has more knowledge then most players on the tour combined. All he does is one pocket and straight pool. Danny speaking his mind on how he thinks the game should be played is what makes it entertaining. The guys a legend in the game even if you don’t like him. There’s a reason why he has been commentating forever.
No. The cue ball doubles the rail, meaning it hits the rail a second time after contact. No one there questioned it because they're all billiards players and this is quite common in 3 cushion and balkline.
@@rogerscottcathey Not quite, but nearly. So it hits the rail and then the ball afterwards, as you would expect from a kick shot. However, immediately after it contacts the ball it actually makes a totally separate contact with the rail. It appears simultaneous here, but it is two independent rail contacts. While it's hard to see with the naked eye, with better quality shots you can easily see it in slow motion (this specific example is hard to tell). The ball reacts exactly as you would expect it to having doubled the rail here, hence no foul called. If it had not doubled the rail, the cue ball would not have traveled on that line down the table, but would have banked shorter from the initial rail contact. Notice how the cue ball leaves at what otherwise appears to be an unnaturally long angle after this kick and it really dies. If it were a (near) kick and stick it barely would have traveled at all. Instead, it's because it's losing momentum again after hitting the rail again.
@@AccuStats I always look for best quips from the commentators. I think you won this time with that response there. Literally an LOL. All I could picture is droll face. :-)
You can hear the comments Danny Diliberto is making through the plexiglass booth , his timing is impeccably rude and most times he’s challenging a player from the booth ,just watch for yourself . Thx

😂😂😂
2 stunning pool players, 2 beautiful human beings... they both really warm my heart.
What a gift they've been to us all.
That is the most spectacular lag I have EVER seen.
It's tough watching Efren play like that, but it happens to everybody.
Love when Mark and Danny commentate.
Mee too
A classic match on the southern classic tour
That's a lot of greatness in one room

Agreed, Efren is the greatest player of all time, nobody is even a close 2nd, Danny is a complete moron, always has been
Efrain is like Irving Crane. Whatever shot he took was the right shot
He's the worst thing to ever happen to pool commentary. Cheap labor Im guessing is why they keep him in the booth.
Greatest ever no doubts

How is there such a small crowd for this match?!?
Anyone else notice the ball count at the end of the second rack didn't add up right?
That happens.
@@AccuStats lol yes it does. Not criticizing I'm a huge fan! Been ordering from you since back in the VHS days when I had to email my CC# to you!
36:26 Isn't this shot by Efren also a foul?

So simultaneously?

Video quality is awful in many parts.
Yes, we know.

All you gotta do is make a double long double bank corner to beat Bustie!
