Wow, I thought they would have a slightly different voice. Usually with voice acting you hear a different voice in person but their voices are still spot on. I guess the point is that there is a difference in emotion or delivery when a voice actor is making another voice vs using their natural voice.
No shade, but these movies hire screen actors. Usually people who only voice act have a wider range of voices. Screen actors don't always have range though British theatre actors are exceptions.

It's great how this film presents versions of Spider-Man/Woman at almost every key point in their career. Miles is early on. Optimistic but overwhelmed and naive. Gwen is a few years in and seems to be approaching her first major hurdles of the life. Blond Peter is in his prime, a few years after the PS4 portrayal, and doing better than ever. Older Peter is facing further hurdles and a complete lack of enthusiasm for being Spider-Man. I hope in the sequel we get to see Peter in the Renew Your Vows stage of his life, or maybe even Spider Girl with a retired Peter.
My theory as to why he friend-zoned Miles and Gwen and stuttered is that the plot of the next movie shows a romantic relationship between Miles and Gwen. (This was confirmed by Producer Amy Pascal, and was hinted at near the end of the movie when Gwen asks Miles if he “has a minute”) He most likely didn’t want to spoil anything or reveal anything he wasn’t supposed to.
