For those saying the Police are not stopping the protestors, the Police can't be totally blamed. Parliament needs to enact harsh laws imposing prison sentences for those blocking roads etc. If they do that, Police will take more action in respect of a serious offence. It's their job to enforce the laws which Parliament passes. The Police won't do anything if there is no offence in question or just a minor nuisance type offence. Police will not waste resources on less serious offences. The onus is on the lawmakers to enact 2 or 3 year mandatory jail sentences for these types of things. Protests will then magically stop or lessen significantly.
