Glad they fixed it. I was so mad honestly this game is my comfort haha and when it got patched I was like come on people. Glad the devs were so quick to be receptive.
Oh reliquary is definitely an annoying mission for assault, though heavy bolter does a good damage when you shoot the head. However, assault is indeed really good for survivability even with balanced weapons. I always take this class when I see level 1s on ruthless or above in the party.
The balanced relic chainsword had a strength of 16 with a speed of 1, against blocking strength 16 speed 4 or something along those lines, haven't logged in to check yet but i'd guess that would be where the tweak is. Also the double charge on jetpack was not rare, it happened to me multiple times a mission and you can almost always trigger it by trying to jetpack up into a ground slam after dodging. Instead of going up you'd instantly fart out both charges in jetpack dodges to throw yourself in a random direction.
Yeah, that was unbelievably irritating with the jetpack dodges. It was just wasting them completely. You could avoid it mostly by trying to wait to jump pack, but it made it extremely awkward and clunky to use at best.

Some people on the Steam discussions said Sword of Bakka (artificer Chainsword) bonus was %110 instead ıf %10. I think thats what they fixed. They will soon change the block to restore armor segment per Stack :P
Nah they need cte version, we aren't test dummies here and drastically changing your game for the worse is going to alienate your playerbase. Most of the sm2 playerbase is against saber at this point.
with the buff to blocking, running vanguard with melta and a blocking chainword is kind of a perfect match since if you want to farm all 3 stacks you don't want to use melee and that's when the melta comes in for a good burst of dmg, and seeing as vanguard only has 2 armor segments you're basically fully restacked after one surge use

I say this because fencing gives instant armor with gun shot depending on build but in crowds fencing will recover armor depending on hits and its safer to do vs block and eventually swing or knowing when to time swinging after blocking while being pressured.

Just finished a game with a weird bug. I had guard relic but i couldnt revive. Weirdly my completely dead allies would watch there timer go down and wait on res. But couldnt res me either. Was playing bulwark and had my banner down at the time, could be my only guess why it happend😅

It synergizes in several ways. The added damage can be used on a ground slam for even more devastating blows. Assault also has better perfect dodges, so you can still go 1 for 1 armor to dodge coversion if you want.
Kinda got used to the reduced parry window, though it'll be nice to get multiple majoris parries in one go again 🙂 The buff to blocking sounds pretty tempting, I've been meaning to level my assault up. Only wish I had more spare time to play!

The amount of glazing for this trash blows my mind. You window lickers have heard of the astartes mode right? The fact that mod exist means until the base game reflects the mod the devs are lazy trash that dont respect you as a player.
Fix bulwark parry, block. Give him either more melee dmg or more ammo. Same for asaut. The heavy melta sucks compared to tactical and vanguard. Especially now that they reduced parry. No ammo, no parry how tf are you supposed to play bulwark and assault?
@violetspider_ how am I getting the most melee damage and kills if I've only got 1 Minoris? You just don't know the classes well. Assault is THE wave clearer, Bulwark is THE majoris killer outside of Sniper.

The blocking purple chainsword had much higher attack value compared to Relic version. It was something around 15 vs 12-13 of the Relic version

Assault is very viable for solo lethal thanks to the regain armor with any gunstrike

My biggest gripe with blocking was that you would get swarmed by Minoris and thrn you can't do anything in regards to armor. I hope this fixes it.
Thats whats stopping me from getting blocking literally can handle a boss but a mob of minoris is the end of it

I found a really weird bug that causes bulwarks to exit blocking stance when walking left in eternal war. It could also be the case in Operations.

what if, 1 = +damage bonus, 2 = +armor segment, 3 = +aoe burst.
0 charge = normal mele
1 charge = damage bonus
2 charge = damage bonus + armor segment
3 charge = damage bonus + armor segment + aoe.
1: damage
2: 2damage + armor
3: 3damage + 2armor + aoe
basicly what is now but 1 armor at 2 perfect block.
That would make too much sense for a team of monke to out together. They would rather implement bad choices and call them bugs later.
