This song is me… For so long… 15 years in a marriage where I was alone and never enough. Divorced now 10 years… failed relationship after failed relationship and finally got to a point where I was going to just be single and learn how to really know myself. Did a lot of shadow work, faced my demons, cried myself to sleep a lot wishing I still had someone else to hold me once in awhile… Was diagnosed 3 years ago with M.S., which made me feel even lonelier… and I had to learn to hold myself. But I did-I grew my wings in the process and faced the storm. And now I have recently had a man come into my life who WANTS to actually be with me, health challenges and all! He has learned so much about my disease on his own and has literally carried me when I couldn’t walk! He has been an amazing role model to my boys… I feel SO blessed!! Never doubt the plans the universe has for you-hang on and learn to love yourself and your freedom… you will be so surprised to see how your life turns out in the end. ❤
