    Not throwing any shade on Dangerboy, all things considered he showed heart till the end of the race. The track was gnarly and he didn’t do himself any favors starting mid pack, I can only imagine the pressure especially after jumping right on top of a tough block, he got held up, made mistakes, threw a Superman and fought his way back to 5th, a learning lesson indeed but he’ll only get faster. The Hype is real.

      @Jake_Hamlin ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@pogie34 something is wrong with your eyes if you think that looked good. Would you still say it looked good If a less likeable rider like Barcia did the same thing?
      What my eyes see over and over is the red bike being ahead of Deegan by a foot or two when he left the track. Deegan then accelerated and came back onto the track about 3 foot behind the rider who was infront of both the red bike and him when he left the track. The reentry was significantly ahead of the red bike.
      Saying “Deegan pull in just infront of the red bike” is the same as saying “the guy who got the holeshot was just infront of Deegan”

    Did he get any offical warning or penalty for accelerating off the track and gaining a position, reentering ahead of the red bike?
    like I understand why he did it, getting a bad start with all the fans expectations and pressure he’s under, he probably didn’t even realise what he was doing.
    But I’d hate for AMA to already be showing favouritism/bias. Pretty certain a rider like Barcia wouldn’t get away with it. I’d almost bet if the red bike hadve done the same thing to Deegan AMA would say something about it, the internet definitely wouldn’t ignore it.

  • @lifeisgood3589
    @lifeisgood3589 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The main thing he had going against him is this was only a 5 min +2 race. A full moto I like his chances even after falling. He knew it was only a short moto and he knew he was expected to win and that is why he crashed trying to pass where he did when he should have waited. He will learn from this. I doubt if you see him race anymore futures. He will line up at Houston next week and race east coast.

  • @timburks3806
    @timburks3806 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    No doubt he is fast. Their is so much pressure on this kid to win. It's ok to get second or third once in awhile. Let the young man develop and grow. He is a bit short. He will be just fine if he can handle all of the pressure. He's got speed just needs good breaks and calm down a bit. Just my opinion.

    • @billhutchens9666
      @billhutchens9666 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      actually he needs a little more experience and a lot more talent. even if he gets both, he won't be anywhere near jett's level. long as pimp daddy is raking in those bucks, all is good.

    • @timburks3806
      @timburks3806 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm no expert but I have to say talent wise if his lap times are on balance with other guys I think he has the talent. Experience wise, sure he is what 16 or 17? I'm not sure how long Jett has been a pro but to compare the two is kinda strange. It's like comparing apples to oranges. As far as his dad and his money, I really don't pay attention to that. It's out of my hands and yours. If the kids mom and dad have money more power to them. I would have been so much faster with money but that's the hand I was given and I did the best I could. I never hear anybody in NASCAR or football or baseball say well Dale Jr got where he was because of his dad's money. I couldn't care less. It's life. I'm glad the kids got the speed, the money, and the desire to be fast and not out on the street on his bike running red lights and pulling wheelies. I personally have never been one to be mad or jealous of what somebody has or the amount of money they have. I get to watch this kid and alot more coming up race for the next 20 years so it's good for me if he has money. I benefit from that. One last thing. Money can't buy desire. Look at his brother. Case closed.

    I think Haiden did pretty well considering his poor start and the two big mistakes. That track was causing a lot of pro's to make mistakes, a lot of guys went down! Haiden is going to be just fine but I do think he is a year away from hanging with the big boys... heck, he just turned 17. I would like to see him try and race 1 or 2 rounds on the east coast to just get some experience and get a feel for what to expect in the future. Just my .02

    Seemed to be a tough track for all the top people, but for Haiden, I can't imagine the pressure, everyone expecting so much not only himself and what he wants out of himself, but other then a bad start and that Wipeout, which like a I said it seems everybody even Tomac went down, pretty hard, but his riding was good, other then thise areas, I think if he'd got a better start he would've did great, but the push to catch up, big crowd, lots of nerves, and the short time to get anything done on top of a pro national supercross track, well we seen what that done to even the best of them, that all thing was crazy last night. I hope he's not being to hard on himself, just building blocks, of course those building blocks are done out in front of everyone, that part sucks, but it's just stepping stones. If you ain't wrecking then you ain't riding, and the only way to get better is to at some point just get thrown into the deep end and swim. I thank the lord Jesus Chris that he keep everybody safe last night with all the wrecks that went own, everybody will live and are on 2 feet, so praise God for that in Jesus name

    This was a dismal performance by Deegan. Everyone has been waiting to see this race. I am not sure what was going on with him or if it was his bike, but watching it live was hard. He is much better than his performance last night. Multiple mistakes like this isn’t going to win races. I was timing all of his practice laps and he looked good. 2nd fast. Compared to the 250sx class he would have been top 15 on practice time. If Ryder would have been able to ride I am afraid he would have won this race. We will have to wait until the next time. Good luck HD
