Totally understood on the Hourglass as it’s too pricey to keep if it’s not perfect. And skin irritation??? No. Return! The candle tins ARE gorgeous though!
The tile is now used as a tester for perfume. You can spray the perfume on it and smell it. There are also porous lava rocks as well as more porous tiles that are used as essential oil or fragrance diffusers but not this one, I think. Try spraying and using in small spaces like drawer, closet or car. I don't think it's a particularly good idea because body perfumes are tested to work at 37 degrees, they don't generally disperse that well at room temperature.
