Dragon Warrior is an absolute classic, but basically impossible without a guide. There is a lot of level grinding. Also, your stats in this version are based on your name, so it is fun to change it up to see what you can get. Mr.Magic, was especially crazy as I remember.
Dang, man. I think that might have been your best box. Not even considering actual value, but fun factor. If I got those games for Christmas back in the 90’s, that would’ve made my year, well, if I also got the mouse for Mario paint 😂 great box.
Happy One Year Boxversary! Let's see what you got in your 1 year! Star Wars Rogue Squadron-Not bad. I've not played that one but I've played Rogue Squadron II on GameCube and it's a fun flight sim in the Star Wars universe game. Fun fact, the Rogue Squadron games are a Nintendo exclusive series. That game is an N64 exclusive and 2 and 3 are GameCube exclusives. Very clean cartridge! Now I've watched all the Star Wars movies and I want to encourage you to watch 8 and 9...but the movies actually were pretty bad. Visually looked amazing but the storyline was all over the place and was...dumb. But something Star Wars related I do recommend you checking out is Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett (watch Mando season 1 and 2, then Boba Fett, then season 3 of Mando). Mario Paint-Nice! Now I've never played Mario Paint but those who grew up with or put a lot of time into playing seemed to have had a good time coloring and most notably, making music in it. Mickey Mousecapade-I'm conflicted on this one, Capcom Disney games during the SNES are generally pretty good and a few notable good ones on NES, but I've also seen some gameplay of it and don't remember this being a good one but the guy who reviewed hated it so that probably skewed my thoughts of this one. But I will say the controlling both at the same time thing is very annoying, that's probably why the reviewer I watched didn't like it. Dragon Warrior-Nice! The first Dragon Quest game! I have this game but I haven't played it yet but there's no denying this is a classic and a must have on the NES. Bases Loaded-Yay...a sports ball game. I can't say for sure if it's good or not but this is the most talked about Baseball game on NES so that gives it hope that it's a decent game. Overall a pretty good box. My pick of the box would be either Dragon Warrior or Star Wars. Wow it's so crazy to see you from a year ago vs now and how much the videos have evolved. Very cool!
I've never played Rogue Squadron 3; will have to check that out one day. Mickey Mousecapade wasn't great or anything and actually pretty frustrating, but frustrating in a way that compels me, lol. Thanks for watching!
Dragon Warrior was the first rpg I ever played. There is a point when you really need a guide. The last Dragon Warrior Edrick had 3 items scattered that are the best in the game. Very hard to find with few clues.🕵️
My pick has to be Dragon Warrior. I am such a big Dragon Quest fan that it has to be my pick. Star Wars Rouge Squadron is super nice too! This was a good box/ I enjoyed it. Congrats on the box Aggie!
@@AggieThunderpaw by all means I sure do. It has to be dragon quest 5. It is a great game but that is not why it is my favorite. It is also the game that kept me invested long enough to play turn based rpgs. Before then I never saw the excitement in turn based rpgs. This was in 2004-2005 so this game had not come to North America yet. I found it at a time when I was searching through the snes catalogue. That was the game the popped out, found a translation and played it for hours upon hours. It finally released on ds a few years later. That is why it’s my favorite dragon quest. It ignited my love for turn based rpgs. The story in it is so good as well, I love the story focused around family. I will stop now, I could go on for hours. Lol
@@AggieThunderpaw I signed up for everything I own lol. SNES through Wii U, gameboy through 3DS, PS1-4 and 360 & XB1. Great videos btw, the best TH-camr I’ve seen do these unboxings so far!
I LOVE THIS BOX! Star Wars to Dragon Warrior to Bases Loaded. Impressive!! Great video.
I was very happy about this box. They really did hit it out of the park. Thanks for watching!
Happy Floydiversary! Great Box!
Thanks! Floyd really did hit it out of the park with this one. I look forward to another year with VGM.
Can't beat a good Star Wars game. I love the GameCube sequel to that one. Happy One Year VGM, I might be around the same time.
I had only ever played the sequel on the GameCube. Very excited to finally play through this one.
Very good box overall! There were 4 bases loaded games on the NES. The 4th one is kinda expensive.
Ooo, good to know. I’m excited to see how the games evolve as they progress. I know I’ve heard positive things about the series.
Dragon Warrior and Rogue Squadron are really great games. Thank you for the really cool video!
I’m so excited to finally play through both of those games! Thanks for watching!

I think this was my best box! Even Bases Loaded ended up being more fun than I expected.
I remember liking bases loaded a lot... I got more into sports after learning to play them on video games 🙂
Also, your room setup has come a helluva long way since that first box! Great side-by-side!
I had some fun with Bases Loaded; I just need to learn to play it, haha.

Probably one of the best boxes I have ever gotten, if not the best. Thanks for watching!
Man that was a really good box!
I think it may be my best box from VGM so far. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, I figured I would need a guide. I am so excited to finally play through it. I’ve been meaning to dive into the series for a long time.

I just signed up for the 10 game box I’m so excited. Also is Floyd the name of the mascot?
Floyd is the name of the mascot. Hopefully you get some bangers in that first box! What systems did you sign up for?

I believe you got hosed. The fact value was lower than cost is unheard of on a box like this. Just my thoughts.
I don't have my N64 anymore, but Rogue Squadron is a fantastic game a little hard sensitive controls but excellent game
It was very hard for me to get a hang of the controls; it was very sensitive. I’m hoping that I’ll adjust to them the more time I spend with it.
