For all the structure that QSMP have, would be crazy if they aren't paid... I mean, they don't even gain recognition and remain anonymous, if they're not paid them they're earning nothing from this entire situation.
I think this is why there were supposed to be 2 streamers taking care of one egg. Missa never does it and philza has to do it, that is why there are timezone problems

Yes! Maybe they can assign tasks to do with the eggs that grant players rewards like special items instead to still stimulate adventuring with the eggs

The death from neglect is a good system for other reasons, but I don’t think it should be this strict & obviously have flexibility - Chayanne isn’t neglected, the reason they can’t do the tasks is off the game. They should be flexible to excuse these situations. 1. reason it’s good in RP I think the neglect death is good because it generates motivation for the tasks and engages the eggs relationships with each other and their parents. If this didn’t happen people would be very very loose about logging in & dedication, and probably wouldn’t even do the tasks at all because they can just choose to do something else. 2. practical reason If the parent of an egg doesn’t log in, they can’t just leave the admin of the egg forever waiting for the creator, they may just kill the egg so they’re done with it. if the creator doesn’t give enough importance or time to the QSMP they probably shouldn’t have a whole person logging in everyday just for them.
I feel so bad for Phil and Chayenne's admin. And Tallulah's admin is there trying to communicate with both of them but she must also feel quite powerless. I hope Phil takes it up with Quackity because maybe he's not aware of how much stress taking care of the eggs (especially two on your own) might cause the other creators
smh quackity has it easy logging only every once in a while like a special event. thats crazy if you take it in conisderation. i mean im sure he doesnt want chayanne to die as well

He does have people to help him with this, he could never do this all on his own, but he is doing a LOT more behind the scenes than just logging onto the server every once in a while on stream. This is all in addition to him working on his own education and a personal life.
Philza said the quest need to go, they were needed in the beginning because they helped create a bond, but now that everyone likes the eggs they aren't needed.
It's been nearly 4 months since the egg quest last changed from daily to 3 days, that they need to either change to once a week, or become optional with a reward. It's not fair to the admins who don't have alot of time irl anymore for their eggs to die, it's not fair to the admins who have lots of time for them to have to play those eggs so they don't die, and its not fair to the streamer who are there for there eggs to die of neglect because the admins are to busy irl right now to join and play the eggs.
Ideally I would like if they removed the quests system so they don't have to log in so much and have the eggs hatch into dragons BUT keep their lives so they can still die off. Just not from neglect.
The lives system is necessary to move the plot further in my opinion(it's why the code exists I think), so I still want them to be able to die or be killed by players, mobs or their own mistakes(the server has horror aspects for a reason) Having immortal dragons flying around can be taken advantage of by players and give uneven power dynamics within the server.
Honestly I think the only way the quests are useful right now is when it’s like “hey go check out this new thing on the server”, beyond that it’s just like go fight a dungeon for the seventh time instead of whatever project you wanted to work on with the egg

It was introduced to engage interactions between streamers and eggs and avoid absent parents, but the youngest egg is already 3 month old and everyone is attached (just like all other eggs). The death by neglect has less of a purpose now because it was too effective. Changing the penalty system for neglect into a reward system is also interesting. The mobs are getting harder and harder. Getting artifacts similar to Lucky Ducks which help fight off modded monsters is an idea. Another solution I've heard is to turn the eggs into dragons and remove the lives system, but if a new egg arrives, there is no more mystery of what will happen. On the other hand, it has to happen at some point. In the end, the well being of streamers and egg admins is the priority. Chayanne's admin has things to take care of IRL, this is how it should be. We need at least a system that allows admins to live their IRL lives with no stress and no remorse for not always being present. Whatever solution the admins decide to use, this is something they should look into (if they haven't started already).
I agree! Expecially since the eggs kinda feel like they've aged too, so making it so they don't die of neglect could work as 'the eggs are old enough to take care of themselves' and the quests just become a reward mechanic would help balance things.
I think that they should make an official Challulah model of Tallulah pretending to be Cheyenne and have the day count for both eggs. Is it breaking the fourth wall? Yes, but it’s already happening so why not make it easier on everyone and make it official.
Aww, I hope Chay's admin is okay. I feel the stress of being so busy with school and then something else. On that note, I now see Chay as a college student in QSMP, and I LOVE IT.

Ive heard that Leo's admin is also heading back to school, so that 2 admins (we know of) that have to put egg duties on the back burner bc irl stuff takes precedent. Who knows, maybe other admins have school coming up again and if that does happen i can see the egg quests getting reworked again

A lot of people said to just have others replace 01 but the 01 admin was the one Phil bonded with the most. To have him play entirely just Chayanne or Cucurucho would be entirely up to him, but it may have to be one or the other at some point. The fans notice the difference between admins and it feels like they are going to just want one or another entirely playing the character.

Why don't they get another admin who's not playing an alive egg to sub in for Chay? That way the personality/schedule would be more consistent and the OG could still log in when available....
And the most admin they have its for taking care of the servers and issues that may have, most off them aren’t players, the only admin that play are the eggs or cucurrucho and walter bob
i hope they make it a weekly thing instead of a 3 day thing. like, the admins are busy as well. maybe the best approach to it is to make the tasks be like 10 tasks that the eggs and their caretakers have to complete within a week, so it's easier to both the parents and the admins.
They seriously need to rework the life system like they did months ago. I’d prefer they remove the mandatory log ons entirely (the quests can just be for fun/content) but if not, change it to once a week. They did it before. They should do it again. Fyi, for whoever doesn’t know: In the first month they had to stream daily. Weekdays for single parents. After 1 month, on May 2nd (egg event started April 3rd) they said the “eggs have matured enough” to reduce it to 3x a week. It’s been 3 months since May’s change. It’d make sense to do it again.

As a college student I think they can make it work. If it’s night school it makes it so much more difficult. I think they’ll have to adjust their schedules for each other.
nah I'm also a college student and I have barely any free time a lot of the time, it really depends on what courses you're doing and what other stuff you're doing on top of it and how well you manage to balance things
Depends on courses. I’m in STEM and only have 12 credit hours this semester, and there was a day last week where I got one meal the whole day (at 5:30 pm) because I just didn’t have time. Got up at 7 for class and had homework and prepwork to do in between and then my last class got over at 4:30. And by the time I got food and back home it was 6:30, and I just called it a day. And then woke up at 7 the next day just to realize there was a quiz due at 8 am I should’ve done the day before but I was too tired for. It’s entirely possible the poor kid doesn’t have the energy left at the end of the day to even care, depending on what they’re in school for and what their course load looks like this semester. Also, sometimes schedules royally screw you in college. If you need a specialized class and it’s only got one time, then you’re taking it at that time and working the rest of your life around it.
Maybe they can make a system just for philza thats like, philza does 1 extra quest for whatever eggs are online and that extra one counts for chayanne? Idk man, its really a shame that they're having time zone problems :(

You have to remember that the admins and all the users are from time zones all over the globe. What might be the middle of the day for one person could middle of the night/early morning for another. Also sitting in a chair in front of screen isn’t exactly healthy either.
If the admin for Chayanne continues to not show up for the week, does that mean Tallulah’s admin will have to both play as both Chayanne and Tallulah, or would someone else has to do it assuming they don't want to die)?
Fortunately, they got richarlysons admin to play chayanne for this stream. (He spawned in for a split second as richarlyson, thats how we knew it was his admin as well as he was constantly hitting everyone)

I haven't been keeping up with this, but I'm surprised that whole system is still going on. It felt more like a short term part of the plot that would transition into the next thing rather than just how things would be long term.
I wonder why they can't have direct communication, it's not like it'd ruin the immersion or something (or ig not like they shy away from that) and it'd be easier to schedule if they can just talk about it
You can't just poof and be done you have to make it work with the story and by now the eggs are what the players live for. Just taking them away you would have angst and fans being pissed. Then you have people like Foolish where he was "just a builder" but with Leo he had a reason to do other things.

Creo que las misiones diarias (3 misiones) no deben ser eliminadas por que les da a los cc´s cosas para hacer, los mantiene en movimiento por la isla donde muchas veces por las misiones se encuentran con otros cc´s. Sino estuvieran las misiones muchos cc´s se quedarían en su casa encerados y casi nunca compartirían y que se encuentren con otros es lo divertido. No voy a decir que cc se convertiría en ermitaño pero creo que sin las misiones solo se quedarían en su casas. Lo que si creo que tienen que hablar con Leo, Ramon, Chayanne (pobre tiene tantas cosas para hacer además de administrar el server y ser cucurucho) y pronto Pomme para ver como manejan sus horarios o que les conviene para ellos.

Missa IS NOT A STREAMER, he is a youtuber. Sometimes he streams because he likes to talk to his community. I read somewhere that Phil was already aware of this, and thanks to the pressure that a lot of people were putting on Missa, he commented that this way they weren't making him want to play.
im still kinda hoping egg arc ends soon, i think its served its purpose (for the most part, still kinda sucks some streamers just up and dipped and just never came back)

Fyi, for whoever doesn’t know: In the first month they had to stream daily. Weekdays for single parents. After 1 month, on May 2nd (egg event started April 3rd) they said the “eggs have matured enough” to reduce it to 3x a week. It’s been 3 months since May’s change. It’d make sense to do it again.
I kinda agree they should end the egg arc soon… especially if people r getting stressed out like it’s gone on for so long man xD
but he doesn't want the egg arc to end though, he just wants it to be less stressful irl for both the parents and eggs. he still wants to hang out with his eggs whenever they're free.

nah I'm also a college student and I have barely any free time a lot of the time, it really depends on what courses you're doing and what other stuff you're doing on top of it and how well you manage to balance things
Depends on courses. I’m in STEM and only have 12 credit hours this semester, and there was a day last week where I got one meal the whole day (at 5:30 pm) because I just didn’t have time.
Got up at 7 for class and had homework and prepwork to do in between and then my last class got over at 4:30. And by the time I got food and back home it was 6:30, and I just called it a day. And then woke up at 7 the next day just to realize there was a quiz due at 8 am I should’ve done the day before but I was too tired for.
It’s entirely possible the poor kid doesn’t have the energy left at the end of the day to even care, depending on what they’re in school for and what their course load looks like this semester. Also, sometimes schedules royally screw you in college. If you need a specialized class and it’s only got one time, then you’re taking it at that time and working the rest of your life around it.
Phil could also be more proactive about letting other creators take care of his eggs, but he is very protective
Maybe they can make a system just for philza thats like, philza does 1 extra quest for whatever eggs are online and that extra one counts for chayanne?

You have to remember that the admins and all the users are from time zones all over the globe. What might be the middle of the day for one person could middle of the night/early morning for another. Also sitting in a chair in front of screen isn’t exactly healthy either.
If the admin for Chayanne continues to not show up for the week, does that mean Tallulah’s admin will have to both play as both Chayanne and Tallulah, or would someone else has to do it assuming they don't want to die)?
Fortunately, they got richarlysons admin to play chayanne for this stream. (He spawned in for a split second as richarlyson, thats how we knew it was his admin as well as he was constantly hitting everyone)

I haven't been keeping up with this, but I'm surprised that whole system is still going on. It felt more like a short term part of the plot that would transition into the next thing rather than just how things would be long term.
I wonder why they can't have direct communication, it's not like it'd ruin the immersion or something (or ig not like they shy away from that) and it'd be easier to schedule if they can just talk about it

You can't just poof and be done you have to make it work with the story and by now the eggs are what the players live for. Just taking them away you would have angst and fans being pissed. Then you have people like Foolish where he was "just a builder" but with Leo he had a reason to do other things.

Creo que las misiones diarias (3 misiones) no deben ser eliminadas por que les da a los cc´s cosas para hacer, los mantiene en movimiento por la isla donde muchas veces por las misiones se encuentran con otros cc´s.
Sino estuvieran las misiones muchos cc´s se quedarían en su casa encerados y casi nunca compartirían y que se encuentren con otros es lo divertido.

Missa IS NOT A STREAMER, he is a youtuber. Sometimes he streams because he likes to talk to his community. I read somewhere that Phil was already aware of this, and thanks to the pressure that a lot of people were putting on Missa, he commented that this way they weren't making him want to play.
