I never cease to be impressed with how good the performances sound with the new YEV's.
The lowest tones by Eos in Duel were a blast! And I think I died and came back with her solo in Goes Gaga.
I just wish we could hear the viola more. I hope we soon get another professional recording to listen wih more details.

So glad you enjoyed the videos as much as I did! And yes the YEVs sounds really good! I definitely think you can hear the viola more when Els hits the C-string, since the C strings are super emphasized on the YEV-105…I feel as if I could also hear the 2nd violin part a lot more in this show!

While I loved the iconic time of the Starfish/Violectra/Yamaha Cello era here we are now where we have them all using the same brand of instruments since Born. And immediately you can hear a difference than years before with such a cohesiveness in the sound as a collective! I think because Born was recorded using Yamahas, this performance of Duel sounds so much like the album version, except you can hear the personality and nuances in playing style. In past Duels, you can hear the stark difference between the crisp sounding Yamaha VS the fairly weaker plastic sounding Starfish. But here they have such a better unified sound.
hopefully this is just the beginning of their triumphant return and I look forward to more performances to come! thanks again for your hard work in gathering these clips for every fan outside of these select concert halls!

I loved their "Starfish/Violectra/Yamaha Cello" era too! However, I definitely love the cohesive sounds of ALL the Yamahas together. I just wish that Els's YEV-105 could be turned up to match the volume of the other girls as well! More videos to come soon :)

I miss the era of the 2000s where they still had concerts accompanied by a live band, now they play back more often so they can't be improved or modified. The concert in Jakarta 2002 for me is their best concert video on TH-cam, I hope you can find other Bond concert videos from that era

I think ever since their 2021 livestream concert I noticed that…it’s usually 146 BPM, but I put it into Logic X Pro and it seemed as if it were 150 BPM
