In football is more important acceleration than overall speed. Thats why messi is such a good dribble, he changes gear from 1 to 5 in a sec. It takes Usain a while to get into top speed + he definitely is not going to be able to manage the ball while running at that speed.
Pace isn’t worth anything if you’re not able to dribble or pass the ball.

It is a huge disservice to the hundreds of top level footballers who cannot make a cut for a practice and Usain Bolt gets to walk in anywhere bc of his resume. Every video I've seen of him playing including this one, only shows him in shooting drills (anyone can go do skill or not) and him going up in the air for a header. NOT ONCE have I ever seen any sort of ACTUAL soccer IQ applied to his game. Never have I seen him beat a defender with a skill move nor have I EVER seen him take a single touch pass with the ball from one player to another. This isn't a personal attack on him but you CANNOT enter a game at the pro level and expect to just be great. This is especially true in the game of soccer that is one of the most difficult sports to master
